What Shoppers Say About Craneandcanopy
Crane and Canopy is rated 1.4 out of 5 by 19 shoppers, with the vast majority expressing significant dissatisfaction. Reviewers consistently report poor product quality, citing thin and flimsy materials, defective items arriving (holes, broken ties, bleached appearance), and construction failures even after light use. Customer service emerges as a major pain point, with shoppers describing unresponsive support staff who ignore emails, blame customers for defects, and fail to respond to multiple contact attempts. Several long-time customers note a decline in quality since the company changed ownership in 2020.
A small segment of reviewers report satisfaction with duvet covers and design aesthetics, but these positives are heavily outweighed by complaints about durability, wrinkles, and lack of customer support. Pricing is another complaint, with shoppers questioning whether the costs are justified given the cheap feel of materials and unresponsiveness to complaints. The combination of quality issues, poor customer service, and high price points has led reviewers to recommend alternatives.

Sorted by: Most recentPicked up the King Blue Willow Blue Cloud Bedskirt for $98 plus almost $20 in shipping and tax. When it arrived, the material was thin and flimsy. It hung way too short and would probably tear if I tried to pull it tight. Skip this one completely. The quality is horrible. I'd recommend checking out Mattelasse bedskirts from The Company Store instead - their draping is way better.
Dropped $578 on two twin bedding sets and didn't even get free shipping, which feels crazy in 2025. One set arrived looking bleached or used already. I contacted them right away, but instead of just sending me a replacement, they blamed me and then ghosted. Only heard back once I disputed the charge with my bank. Sure, the designs are nice, but the actual quality doesn't justify the price or all this frustration. Would've been fine with a simple replacement, but their service and product quality just don't match what they're charging. Definitely wouldn't recommend.
Crane and Canopy has really gone downhill. I've bought five duvet covers from them - the first four were excellent before they got sold in 2020, but this latest one is disappointing. It arrived with a hole already in it and the fabric feels thin and cheap. I've reached out four different times and after I explained what went wrong, I got nothing. No follow-up. Won't be recommending them or ordering again, which is sad because I used to love their products.
I ordered duvet covers from them years ago and was happy with both the product and service. Ordered again recently and both have disappointed me. The first time I used the new one, a corner tie broke off. I emailed customer service with no response. Used it again and another tie snapped. Still nothing from my second email. I called during their business hours but got a recording saying no agents were available. Left a message but doubt anyone will call back.
I usually research companies before buying, but I'd seen these guys hyped up as luxury so many times that I skipped that step. Wish I hadn't. The policies are terrible and honestly this isn't luxury at all. I've been buying quality linens for years and this is just cheap stuff. Everything wrinkles and needs ironing constantly. The material is so thin you can practically see through it. It's scratchy, the elastic is awful - basically every single thing about these sheets is the complete opposite of what luxury should be. I get why they're not BBB approved because they'd never meet the standards. Of course you're going to wash sheets before using them. But once you do and realize how bad they are, you're stuck because their policy won't let you return them. That's ridiculous. Any real business stands behind their quality. Not these people. They clearly don't value customers at all. Just skip them completely. Honestly, the 600 thread count sheets from Costco are shockingly better and way more luxurious. It's worth going elsewhere.
I've been pleased with the duvet covers and pillow shams I got from them - ordered several of each. The issue is that when I wash the shams, those thin plastic zippers completely fall apart even with a gentle wash and air dry. I've called and emailed the company multiple times and they never respond. As someone who runs my own business, this is unacceptable. It's left me frustrated and convinced I won't buy from them again, and I'm telling people to stay away.
Spent around $1200 on bedding only to discover the duvet wouldn't even cover the sides of my mattress. This is definitely not luxury quality. The bedskirt doesn't have openings for bed rails either, so it looks terrible. Extremely disappointed with the whole purchase. The fact that you can't even leave reviews on their website should've been my first clue something was wrong. Huge waste of money.
Previously ordered monogrammed towels from them and loved them. So I placed another order, but this time the monogram was so faint I could see right through it to the towel. Since it was a gift, I was really embarrassed to give it. When I called customer service, they'd only refund the monogram part, even though the whole order was over $200. Really disappointed because I was hoping to buy more of their stuff.
Ordered a comforter but they sent me a duvet instead and charged $40 shipping even though my order qualified for free shipping according to their ads. They said they'd replace one item, so I returned the duvet, but the comforter never arrived. The colors advertised looked nothing like what showed up, and there was basically only one blue option. The monogrammed sham didn't match their blue anyway, and they said I couldn't return it because of the monogram. Now I'm disputing the whole thing with my credit card company. They kept saying they'd refunded me, but nothing showed up. Customer service is terrible and I spent a lot of money here. Buyer beware.
Wish I'd looked at customer feedback before ordering nearly $1000 in bedding for my master bedroom. That their site doesn't show reviews should've been a red flag. The duvet came out of the wash so wrinkled that ironing barely helped. The pillowcases shrunk way too much and barely fit anymore. Everything keeps coming out looking terrible and wrinkled no matter what I do. After the second wash, I just donated the entire set to charity. Really disappointed with how this turned out.
