What Shoppers Say About Crosman
Crosman products are receiving predominantly negative feedback, with shoppers reporting frequent defects and breakdowns across multiple product lines including air rifles and airsoft guns. Common complaints include faulty accessories (red dot sights and magazines), structural failures (broken stock lugs), and poor build quality that fails shortly after purchase. Several reviewers also cite unresponsive customer service and difficulty obtaining repairs or warranty support, with some noting frustration over unclear distributor arrangements and inability to reach support by phone or email.
A small segment of reviewers gave positive ratings, though the provided excerpts do not detail their reasons. The overwhelmingly negative pattern suggests systemic issues with product durability and customer support that are driving shoppers away from the brand. Many reviewers state they will not purchase from Crosman again, indicating low customer loyalty and satisfaction despite the company's historical reputation.

Sorted by: Most recentThis has been nothing but a nightmare with the BMPWX model. I've gone through two faulty Red Dot sights, two broken magazines, and the gun itself failed. It feels like something breaks every time I use it. The build quality is really disappointing. Since I'm past the return period, I'm stuck with a useless gun sitting in my closet. I really need something I can actually count on!
What a ripoff! They sell these full auto Crosman rifles, and one model you can at least disassemble and repair if a BB gets lodged in the bushing or tube. But their $200 AK model is a different story. Customer service told me they don't have anyone qualified to fix them and claim it needs special tools just to open it up. When I asked for a breakdown diagram showing how to take it apart, they told me to just search YouTube for it. Seriously?
Nothing has gone right with this experience. Terrible customer service, deceptive business practices, and products that are just average at best. A stock lug snapped on an air rifle I own, which is clearly a design flaw. I ordered the replacement part from Crosman and it started off okay, but then fell apart. They promised it would ship in 24 to 48 hours. When that didn't happen, they said the next day. Spoiler alert, it didn't. Then came another excuse about it being packaged and waiting for the carrier. Both complete lies. The tracking number they sent was broken. I found it myself through the carrier, only to see it was just sitting there with a label created and no movement. A week and a half has passed with no stock lugs. They stopped responding to my emails and I gave up calling. Normally I wouldn't worry so much, but I really hate being lied to. I also told them I was on a tight timeline, but they wouldn't let me pay for faster shipping. You'd think two simple screws wouldn't take three weeks to arrive. Check out Gamo, Beeman, Umarex, or basically anyone else. Currently it still shows as received but pending acceptance. Thanks for nothing.
I got 2 airsoft guns for my son and they both stopped working shortly after we got them. I called twice trying to get them fixed or figure out warranty options, but the staff made it seem like I was bothering them. Honestly, it's the worst customer service experience I've had with any company. I'm never buying Crosman again and definitely won't be telling anyone else to either.
Crosman uses a Canadian distributor called Distrilogistic that handles their website there, and they're impossible to reach by phone or email. I informed the US Crosman office about this and got told they can't help. So who do you contact when nobody responds? I'm finished with this company.
Crosman used to be a solid company. But their Canadian division is actually run by Distrilogistic out of Montreal, and I had no clue about this until I got my invoice. The price they charged for a Crosman 1875 pistol was way too high compared to what other Canadian retailers were asking for the exact same gun. I tried calling them with no success, so I sent an email to Distrilogistic. Back came a message saying they're swamped with inquiries and it'll take a while to get a response. Sixteen days later, still nothing. I reached out to the US office and got this reply: 'I can't promise anything but I'll look into it and learn more.' Not exactly reassuring. Crosman had a great reputation in the past and I've owned and maintained many of their models going back years. Unfortunately, like a lot of companies, they've gotten greedy. There are better options out there. I'd suggest looking at Umarex instead.
This is the company that literally invented quality pellet and BB guns. I've run into some issues with a couple of my guns over the years, but the way their customer service handles things is absolutely amazing. I worked with a team member named Beth and she was fantastic. That kind of staff deserves recognition because she embodies the excellence I've come to expect from everyone at Crosman. I hunt small game and I'm pretty serious about it, so I wouldn't bother with low-quality equipment. Crosman is where it's at. 😎😎😎
I bought 2 SR357 airsoft pistols and after a few months the internal parts basically crumbled and broke my mechanism. The accuracy was awful, quality was terrible, and their customer service can't handle any feedback. ASG and Dan Wesson should seriously consider legal action for how poorly Crosman copied their design. I genuinely hope this company goes under for treating customers this way. If you have an SR357, don't use it. Stick it in a drawer until you can get your money back. Those internals were made from cheap pot metal. Hands down, the SR357 is constructed from the lowest quality materials I've ever seen. Their best product is absolute garbage. When I complained about their bad design, they refused to honor the warranty. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM CROSMAN! THEY'RE SCAMMING PEOPLE WITH JUNK!
I've bought three Crosman Legacy 1000 rifles for pellets and BBs. These are hands down the worst products I've ever bought from Walmart or anyone else. After only 35 or 40 shots at 10 pumps, the gun stops working completely. It won't fire and won't build pressure. Total garbage. Go dig up a used 22 caliber rifle from your local pawn shop instead, because these guns are useless.
