What Shoppers Say About Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris receives sharply divided feedback, with most reviewers reporting significant frustrations that overshadow the park's magical appeal. Common complaints center on poor customer service (unprocessed ticket modifications, unresponsive staff handling vehicle damage claims), extremely high prices for food and merchandise, and operational issues (dark theaters with safety concerns, short show durations relative to wait times). A minority of visitors praise the magical atmosphere, themed attractions, entertainment offerings like fireworks and parades, and occasionally exceptional hotel staff and dining venues.
While some reviewers highlight genuinely positive experiences with customer service representatives and the winter holiday ambiance, these positive interactions are outweighed by systemic issues. Shoppers report feeling nickeled-and-dimed throughout their visit, frustrated by advance planning failures, and disappointed by inconsistent service quality. The park's enchanting theming and entertainment value appear real but insufficient to overcome pricing concerns and service reliability problems for most guests.

Sorted by: Most recentI was really disappointed overall with my Disneyland Paris visit and wouldn't go back even for free. There's just nothing magical happening there. I've been to way more interesting attractions and they didn't cost nearly as much. Everything here is overpriced and just not worth spending your money on.
Brought my kids in December for the Christmas festivities and let me tell you it was quite the experience. The staff were incredibly rude. One staff member actually grabbed my son by his jacket while we were heading to an access area to catch a show, and my son has autism. When I said something about her hands-on behavior, her attitude was completely unacceptable - she even spelled out her name with emphasis. I'm genuinely stunned they let their staff act this way. I reached out to Disney and got basically nothing back. I remember visiting as a kid when it felt truly magical, but honestly none of us felt anything close to that this time.
We went back for the holidays and stayed at Newport Bay again, which is nice, but the staff were seriously unfriendly and sometimes downright rude. Yeah it's the end of the year and people are exhausted, but that's not really an excuse when you're forking over this much cash for a few days. Customers should get respect and politeness. The park was packed as expected, but the wait times have gotten absurd - we're talking 80 to 90 minutes for rides that barely last a few minutes. Some Christmas merch was already sold out. Tons of construction happening, especially at the Studios. We did enjoy the holiday magic and atmosphere, but it was mostly a letdown because of all this. The Starbucks situation was the worst - soggy sandwiches, dodgy salmon, barely any drink variety, and grimy tables and floors. We definitely won't go back and you're literally paying for garbage food. We tried Annette's Diner for the first time but the lines were insane and the service was painfully slow so we just bailed.
SKIP THIS PLACE - the ticket costs are outrageous and it's a total scam. The Studios area looks like a construction zone. Employees are rude and unhelpful. Seating is basically nonexistent, all restaurants require reservations ahead of time, and the lines are terrible because they only care about selling tickets not making guests happy. This place is a total con. Go to a different amusement park and save yourself serious money.
Hated the whole thing. Our son wasn't sure he'd be able to make it so we looked at the website to see what the cost would be if we bought at the entrance. The website didn't show anything useful so we decided to wait and purchase when we got there. The cost for two adults and two kids turned out to be about 142 euros more at the gate, almost double. The staff got really nasty when we asked why. It was packed and every ride had 40 minute waits. I'd definitely tell people to stay away from this place.
