The Walt Disney Company Reviews
What Shoppers Say About The Walt Disney Company
Disney World receives deeply polarized ratings, with shoppers split between strong detractors (50 percent one-star) and loyal supporters (39 percent five-star). Negative reviewers cite high prices that they feel do not justify the quality of service, alongside concerns about the company's corporate decisions and stances on various social and political issues. Several complainants expressed disappointment with Disney's direction and indicated they would seek alternatives.
Positive reviewers, while not detailed in recent excerpts, represent a significant portion of raters at 39 percent five-star feedback. The absence of detailed praise in recent reviews makes it difficult to identify specific strengths, though historically Disney's theme parks and entertainment properties have drawn fans for immersive experiences and beloved characters. The stark division between enthusiasts and critics suggests that satisfaction depends heavily on individual values, expectations regarding pricing, and alignment with the company's public positions.

Disney keeps taking stances against tradition. Look for other options if you can. Plenty of alternatives exist out there.
I'm really upset about the ongoing issues between YouTube TV and ABC. As someone paying for the service, I should have reliable access to local channels for news, sports, and events. Right now I'm getting nothing, no updates, no compensation, and no end in sight. This feels like a broken promise. If the content isn't available, the price shouldn't be full price either. I'm looking at switching to a provider that actually cares about their customers.
Disney has really lost its way. Things have gotten worse, not better. I'm steering clear of their products for my grandkids and avoiding anything their partners are selling.
Disney caved to government pressure and dropped a late night host. That's a direct violation of free speech rights and our ability to speak up about government actions. Freedom of speech is fundamental to our country and needs protecting, regardless of personal opinions.
Are Disney's profits more important than our country's values? It's disappointing that the company has compromised its principles just to make more money. In the past, I've respected their willingness to take a stand, but that's changed now.
Disappointing and spineless company. I'd recommend taking your money elsewhere.
Overpriced. Went to a 4 hour nighttime event at Hollywood Studios and they still wanted 30 bucks for parking. The whole thing was poorly organized.
I recently looked into how The Walt Disney Company operates, and I reached out to their correspondence departments. What I found was disappointing. This used to be one of America's greatest companies known for amazing customer care, but that's just not true anymore. Something feels fundamentally broken with the company culture. Customers seem to be treated like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. Disney used to set the standard for customer service, but those days are gone. The leadership needs to reconnect with the core values that made Disney special and remember that customers matter.
Really let down by how Disney is running things now. I arranged a special surprise for my son after he got engaged. We booked a fireworks cruise, and I told them it was for an engagement party. I had to call back 4 different times because they kept messing up. The worst part was they assigned it to the wrong resort when I had booked it from a different location. When my son would have showed up, he wouldn't have even found the right spot since they're far apart. He sent me a photo the next day and the boat had zero decorations, while all the others had banners and balloons. When I tried to complain, they hung up on me twice and told me to email instead. Guest services responded saying I can't complain since I wasn't actually on the boat. That's absurd. Disney's clearly just focused on making money now with terrible service to match. Red flag when a company doesn't even provide phone lines for complaints.
