ESET offers solid security with tons of choices for what you want to protect against malware, theft, online threats and more in different price tiers. On my five year old computer, it does add a few minutes to startup time, but otherwise runs perfectly in the background without bothering you. They even have a gaming mode that pauses background processes entirely, which I really appreciate. Definitely recommend

This antivirus and internet security software is outstanding. It barely uses any system resources at all. Really easy to navigate but also has plenty of advanced features if you know what you're doing. Hard to imagine what more you'd want from a program like this

Been running ESET for the past year and it's performed flawlessly. Stays on top of new gadgets showing up on your network. Doesn't bog down your machine at all. Monitors for programs you didn't authorize and watches for unusual device access too. I was happy enough to renew for another three years. Solid choice for protection
