What Shoppers Say About Florists.com
Florists.com is rated 1.2 out of 5 by 19 shoppers, with the vast majority reporting severe problems. Reviewers report non-delivery of orders, false claims about same-day delivery and local shop status, unresponsive customer service consisting only of AI chatbots with no human support, and mismatches between what was ordered and what was delivered (or not delivered). Multiple customers describe being charged for flowers that never arrived, receiving false delivery completion emails, and receiving inadequate refunds for substandard arrangements. One florist review indicates the company pays local fulfillment partners significantly less than what customers paid, creating quality and service issues.
The few positive experiences represent a small minority of reviews. The consistent pattern across complaints centers on non-delivery, misleading marketing claims about local operations and service capabilities, inability to reach human customer service, and refusal to provide full refunds for failed orders. Customers strongly advise avoiding this service, particularly when sending flowers to unfamiliar locations or for time-sensitive occasions.

Sorted by: Most recentI'm going to keep this short. This is hands down the worst review I've ever had to leave for any business. Stay away from this operation if you're trying to send flowers somewhere unfamiliar. The site said they do same-day delivery in the area I needed and claimed to be a family-owned local shop, but when I called to double-check their location, they said they were actually in a different city about 30 minutes away. I still couldn't figure out exactly where they were. I needed to get the order in quick so I went ahead anyway, which was a huge mistake. They're not a real local florist at all but rather a middleman that takes orders and sends them to actual florists while keeping most of the payment. That meant I got a cheap, poorly designed arrangement instead of what I ordered. Just some flowers crammed into a basic glass jar with no professional touch to it.
Can't even rate this zero stars which is what it deserves. Nothing was ever delivered. Their customer service doesn't exist. All you get is an AI chatbot with no actual humans to talk to. Don't trust this place and don't order.
Without a doubt the worst business I've ever dealt with. They'll take your order with absolutely no intention of actually getting your flowers delivered. I got an email saying delivery was complete when nothing of the sort happened. Why didn't I check the reviews before ordering from these scammers? I'm reporting this fraudulent charge to my credit card and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to get my money back.
Terrible. Paid 75 dollars to get flowers delivered to my friend for her birthday. They called saying they didn't have the right vase I ordered, which whatever. I just asked them to make sure she'd still get them that same day. She didn't get anything and had to leave work disappointed. Won't use them ever again.
The Angel Chime arrangement was missing the angel entirely and had hot pink decorations that were way wrong for a men's sympathy arrangement. It was also half as big as it should've been. When I complained, they only gave me half my money back.
I need to warn people that this company is sketchy. Working as a local florist, I see their orders all the time and they pay us way less than what customers actually paid them. They keep almost all the money and give us a tiny budget to create what's shown on their site. If you paid a hundred dollars for an arrangement, they're probably only giving us thirty to work with. We can only do so much with that kind of budget. The final product never matches what customers expect. Support your local florist directly instead of using this middleman.
Next time I'm going to do way more research before ordering. I wanted to surprise my 8-year-old daughter with flowers for her birthday, but at 3pm they called to cancel the order because they couldn't deliver to my area. I'm away for work in a different state and my daughter was so disappointed she didn't get her flowers and balloons like she always does. They really need to learn how to run a business properly and stop messing with people's feelings by confirming orders they can't deliver.
Ordered flowers for a funeral and they never showed up. Couldn't get through to customer service and their chat feature doesn't work properly. Really frustrating and disappointing, I can't recommend this at all. Seems like a legitimate scam operation to me.
Got a birthday arrangement for my mother-in-law but it arrived with a flat balloon and the bouquet was flipped upside down. The actual flowers looked nothing like what was shown online and there were way fewer blooms than expected for the deluxe option I paid extra for. Won't be ordering here again. Really let down by this.
