When I called after about 15 minutes to see where my ride was, they said they'd canceled it because they don't serve that area of Manhattan. So why did they even let me book in the first place? I'm still waiting to find out if I'm actually getting my money back.
This was a nightmare from start to finish. The driver never showed up when they said he would. I was told my pickup time would be between 7 and 7:15 in the evening, but nobody arrived. I tried calling and the line cut off. At 7:35 I gave up and caught a regular taxi for $100, which is double what I paid for this shuttle. Later I got an email saying the pickup was actually at 7:45, sent 15 minutes after my original time slot. What good does that do? If they're going to change the time, they need to call people right away, not send an email hours later. I didn't even see it until much later that night. Based on all the other complaints I've read, there's no point trying to get a refund. Just a complete mess of a company. I honestly don't understand how they're still in business. The only reason I picked them was because the other shuttle option would've gotten me there four hours early. Should've just done that instead.
Do not use this service! Complete scam. I waited longer than an hour for my transfer to show up. When I finally called, they offered to cancel with a full refund. That was three weeks ago and I still haven't seen my money.
Awful experience! The staff lied to me and wouldn't give me money back for a service I never actually used. Do yourself a huge favor and book with someone else. This company is not worth your time or money.
Don't book with this company. We flew into Newark on a Sunday and used the airport phone to call for the shuttle. They said 13 minutes. Thirty five minutes pass so we call again. Now they're saying just five to ten minutes away. This went on for over an hour. Eventually we decided to cancel since the wait was ridiculous. Literally two minutes after we canceled, the driver shows up and says to just get in and he'll straighten things out with the company. So now we're stuck in the van getting driven all the way to Manhattan while the driver is on the phone arguing with them the whole time. When we get to our hotel, the driver asks for a voucher that we never received, so we just paid cash to end the nightmare. I've been trying to get that refund ever since but they're claiming we used the service so we're not eligible. I have the email confirmation of our cancellation but they're saying the fact that we rode anyway means we owe them. Plus they've already charged my bank account. This is absolutely a scam company and the worst experience I've ever had with any service. I'm fighting daily to get my money back and I would never recommend them to anyone.
We booked a luxury service for four people arriving at Newark and it turned into an absolute nightmare. When we got to the terminal, there was nobody there waiting for us. We were there over an hour and a half calling them repeatedly. They kept telling us a Honda would be at terminal C at passenger pickup number 5. An hour goes by, we call twice more, they insist the driver is there and ready, but we're looking right there and there's nothing. Third call and suddenly they're saying terminal B instead, which isn't even where we landed. So we drag all our stuff on the train to terminal B, still no driver anywhere. At this point I'm exhausted from a long flight and I ask them to just cancel so I can grab a hotel. They tell me there's a cancellation fee. After being there for over an hour and hauling our luggage across the airport we finally get the driver on the phone. Turns out he was never at terminal B at all. He'd been at terminal C the whole time but cops told him to move so he just took off. We were standing right there at terminal C the entire hour waiting and he just left to go to terminal B instead without telling anyone.
Look, the price is pretty affordable, but that's honestly the only positive thing I can say. The vehicle itself was disgusting and filthy. I really would not want to set foot in that van again.
I made my reservation the night before and they told me to be ready at 4:40 pm. At 5:10 I called to check in and they said they'd be there in about 20 minutes. At 5:35 I called again and got the exact same answer. After that song and dance I just grabbed a taxi to get to JFK because I was running out of time and didn't want to miss my flight. Skip this company altogether.
