Gravity Defyer Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Gravity Defyer
Gravity Defyer receives overwhelmingly negative feedback, with 18 shoppers rating it 1.7 out of 5. The vast majority of complaints center on severe customer service failures: customers report inability to reach human representatives, with automated systems directing them to callbacks that never arrive; partial shipments that go unresolved; refunds delayed for weeks or months despite repeated follow-up calls; and inconsistent enforcement of return windows. Additional complaints include shoes arriving at wrong addresses and quality issues (shoes falling apart after light wear), with the company refusing to help after the 60-day mark. A small minority of reviewers appear satisfied, though their specific praise is not detailed in available feedback.
Patterns across reviews suggest systemic operational problems rather than isolated incidents. Long-time customers report that service quality has deteriorated significantly, even those with 13 years of purchase history describe recent experiences as unacceptable. The reliance on AI-based customer service and third-party logistics appears to be a major point of frustration, as does the company's rigid interpretation of return policies and refund timelines. Shoppers consistently describe the company as unresponsive and unwilling to resolve issues, particularly when contacted after standard windows close.

Sorted by: Most recentI've gotten shoes from this company before and really liked them. This time around I noticed the quality wasn't quite as good on the latest pair. I also bought sandals and made sure to check with their customer service about sizing first. They told me they fit true to size. They didn't. The sandals were too small. Since I'm shipping from overseas, I would normally have to pay for returns myself. I reached out to customer service about that, and they said they'd take care of the return with a full refund and no shipping cost on my end. Problem is, they deducted the shipping from my refund anyway and I've been trying to get that money back ever since. Their customer service has been awful. It's just automated responses, stalling, and dishonesty. Really disappointed.
Less than a month after I started wearing them, the shoes started falling apart. I asked about getting a refund or trading them in, but I just got automated emails saying they had to be in like-new condition with original packaging. I told them I didn't keep the original packaging and got another automated response. Honestly I'm worried about sending them back because the service has been so bad. Losing $140 is a big deal for me and I need these for work so I guess I'm stuck with them. Might try some super glue to hold them together.
The customer service here is absolutely terrible. I paid for expedited shipping on my order that was supposed to go out the next day and arrive within three days. It took four days just to ship out. When I called to ask about getting the expedited shipping fee refunded, what happened was: 1) they entered the wrong information into their system 2) I've called three separate times and still haven't gotten a response from a supervisor after more than a month. The staff members on the phone aren't able to do much to help you, they're short and rude when you call, and supervisors just don't call back. The actual shoes feel good, but if you run into any problems, don't expect to get help.
Just bought my second pair! I'm honestly confused about all those negative reviews. My first pair has lasted over a year and still looks great. When I originally bought, I grabbed two different sizes to see which one felt better. I wore both, then brought one back without any problems. The customer service was really helpful and everything went smoothly. My first pair rolled a bit too much and was bothering my knee, but these new ones are exactly what I needed.
The boss here is a total disaster. Started working at this place back in 2022 and it was rough at first. New warehouse management came in and things got better pretty quickly. I actually liked coming to work, enjoyed my supervisor and my team members. Got promoted to supervisor sometime after that. Fast forward to May 2024 and I took a fall at work that led to foot surgery in October. Came back in February but our department was way behind. Instead of helping us catch up, the owner gives my position to someone who had no business being in that role. Then he wants me to train this person for the job that was just taken from me. Are you serious? Now it's 2025 and I'm literally the only person trained across every single department here. Got fired for refusing to train the person who replaced me. The owner is straight up dishonest. We had shifts where there was no water or internet because bills weren't getting paid. Hours got cut down to 25 a week due to lawsuits and serious money problems this guy has. Vendors would show up at the warehouse demanding payment, and we'd just switch to different companies because he'd get so far behind. Internet providers would get replaced, pallet companies would get replaced. The owner never even came to check on operations, then he fired the whole returns team and slashed everyone's hours.
I called customer service before ordering because I have narrow feet and wanted to make sure I was getting the right size. The representative told me to go half a size smaller, so I did, but the shoes ended up being too short. The box said a return label was included but it wasn't, so I called back asking for one and said I wanted to exchange for a bigger size. A few days later I got the label and returned them right away at FedEx. The rep said I'd get an email within three or four days after they received the shoes with exchange details. After a week with nothing, I called to check in. They said it should be a few more days but confirmed they had received them. Over the next three weeks I kept calling with no luck. Four weeks after they got my shoes, I was told they didn't have that size anymore in stock. I asked for a refund and got it pretty fast. The first person I talked to was genuinely helpful and seemed to care, but after that everyone else didn't seem concerned about the huge delay and didn't want to help move things along.
I'm really impressed with this company. I love how their shoes work for all kinds of foot issues. They get orders out quickly. The prices run a bit higher, but the quality and the fact that these shoes help with foot health makes them worth it to me. I've been wearing the Clara, which I really like because it's helped my heel problem, and the G-defy walker shoe. Got another pair recently and I can honestly walk for hours without pain. Their return process is kind of unusual since you have to go through an insert in the box instead of doing it online. Still, it's not that bad. I'd say do your homework by reading reviews before you make a purchase.
These guys are fantastic. I really appreciate what this company does. The footwear is perfect for dealing with different foot problems. They're quick with getting orders out. The prices are a little steep, but you're getting quality shoes that actually help with foot health, so the cost is fair in my opinion. I've got the Clara model which I'm happy with, especially how it's helped my heel pain. Also got their G-defy walker shoe. Ordered another pair recently and honestly, I can go miles without any discomfort. One thing that's a bit odd is their return process works through an insert that comes in the box, not online. But honestly, that's not a huge deal. I'd suggest reading through reviews carefully before you buy so you know what to expect.
