Their customer service is terrible. This company must be getting old stock from other growers and reselling it. Wasted my money at $65 and the whole process was a hassle. Really regret this purchase.
I ordered two pre-potted vines and a butterfly weed plant. The weed root arrived pretty quickly. I planted it but won't know if it takes for a while. My real issue is that my vines never came and I heard nothing about them. I finally called and was told they're filling pre-orders right now, which is fair. But they have no clue when my order will actually ship. All they could say was it would arrive "soon enough." When I asked for a timeline, they said they don't want to set false expectations. So will I get my vines? Who knows?
This company is just as bad as, if not worse than, their sister company. Both are run by the same people and both have terrible customer service. I placed an order in January for Giant Black Elephant Ears. Three months later in April, I finally got two bulbs. One was completely rotten, the other was okay. I got a refund for the bad one but couldn't get a replacement. The second bulb did grow, but it turned out to be a green variety even though the package said it was black. I got a refund for that too, but I'd been waiting since January and had already prepared a spot for them in my yard. These companies don't care about sending you what you paid for. They keep sending out rotten bulbs and wrong items on purpose. Then you have to jump through hoops with their awful customer service, proving they messed up and basically begging to get anywhere. Don't deal with this company.
Just automation, nothing else. When you call, all you get is a recording. Send an email and back comes a template message with shipping months for whatever you ordered. I tried calling 10 times and got voicemail every single time. Sent two emails and got two automated replies back. No real customer service whatsoever. I'm having my bank reverse the charges on both orders. Stay away from this place.
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! I ordered bulbs that were supposed to arrive Sunday and never got them. I tried calling but hit their voicemail. When they called me back, the woman said the emails were coming through Google and not them, which made no sense, and my package would arrive in September instead. When I told her that was ridiculous she actually laughed at me. Then she said they never sent me any emails and my order confirmation and delivery info were sent by Google instead. Nobody seems to be managing this place and I'm waiting for them to call back.
Ordered 600 tulip bulbs. Many were rotten or undersized. They asked for photos, so I sent them. Then they asked again, which felt like a stalling tactic. At the end they gave me a $2.30 credit. That's insulting. Won't order from them again. Their 100% grow guarantee is 100% garbage!
Bought over $700 worth of beautiful bulbs for fall planting, then a few days later right in the middle of summer the package shows up. I stored it properly since you don't plant bulbs in summer. When I opened the box, they'd been packed all wrong without proper air circulation. Everything had melted together and was rotten. I called to discuss it and they claimed these were summer crops. That's not how it works. You grow them in summer and plant in spring. They won't refund me or replace anything. Meanwhile, bulbs from another company arrived just fine a couple days before this shipment arrived. I'm going to have to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to get them to either refund my money or replace everything. Honestly, I'd never shop with them again. This felt like they sent me garbage from the end of their year.
Spent $180 on daylilies and not a single one came up. When the order arrived, the plants looked dried out and dead. I contacted the company, sent photos, and called several times. They never did anything. I don't like this company and won't buy from them again. It was a terrible experience.
I placed an order and the bulbs never showed up. FedEx wasn't helpful either, but the driver said he'd never seen the package. Holland Bulbs wouldn't step in to help. We had to cancel it through our credit card company.
Horrible experience! Won't shop here ever again! Out of 300 Dutch master daffodils, only about 5 even sprouted and those were puny, smaller than regular daffodils. Bought roughly 20 daylilies and just 2 came up. No tulips bloomed at all and they refuse to honor their grow guarantee.
