What Shoppers Say About Home Science Tools
Home Science Tools receives consistently poor feedback from shoppers, with all recent reviews rating the store at 1 or 2 stars. The most frequently cited issues include incomplete product shipments (with shoppers reporting missing items from science kits), disorganized packaging that arrives with materials haphazardly mixed together rather than organized by experiment, and concerns about pricing practices. Customers note frustration with unclear product descriptions that don't clearly indicate what items are actually included, and one reviewer expressed concerns about the store appearing to inflate prices before sales or coupon releases to create an illusion of larger discounts.
Given the small sample size of reviews, patterns are difficult to establish with certainty, but the complaints about missing items and poor packaging organization represent serious fulfillment issues that directly affect the customer experience. No positive aspects of the store were highlighted in the available reviews.

Sorted by: Most recentDisappointed with this purchase. The items arrived in oversized boxes with everything just thrown together haphazardly instead of being organized properly. I wish each experiment's materials came in separate labeled bags so I could easily find what I need. Right now I've got a cabinet full of random stuff, and every time we want to do an experiment I have to dig through it all to figure out what we actually have. Plus some items have no labels, so I don't even know what half of them are. End result is I end up buying roughly half the materials myself from local stores or using things I already have at home. Pretty underwhelmed overall.
I have serious concerns about how this company operates. They appear to raise their prices right before running sales and releasing coupon codes, which makes it look like customers are getting huge discounts when they're really not. I had an item sitting in my cart before the holiday season for $167. When I came back to check for a Black Friday promotion, they had one available with a 20% coupon code, but that same item was now priced at $210. I decided to test it out, applied the coupon, and sure enough the price dropped back down to the original $167. People who start fresh and don't already have items saved might not catch this trick. It's a shady tactic and honestly, I can't support a business that operates this way.
Very disappointed with my order. I purchased what I thought was a complete science kit, but I was wrong. Well over half the items that should have been included are simply missing. That's a huge number of missing supplies considering how much I paid. I'm really frustrated about this. Living out in a rural area means we can't just run to a store to grab the missing pieces. I won't be ordering from this company again. I also tried to post a negative review on their website but they deleted it right away. That makes me question their credibility.
