What Shoppers Say About Kendra Scott
Created with AI, based on recent reviews
Kendra Scott receives overwhelmingly negative feedback, with shoppers consistently reporting serious quality and durability issues. Customers describe the jewelry as low-quality costume pieces that do not match the price point, with multiple complaints about plating tarnishing or flaking off within months of normal wear, causing skin discoloration and irritation. Earrings and charms that fail to stay properly closed, necklaces that develop tarnish and scratches quickly, and overall construction problems appear repeatedly. Additionally, shipping and customer service problems compound the dissatisfaction, with customers reporting late deliveries, unresponsive support, and unhelpful responses when requesting replacements or repairs.
The rare positive reviews (14 percent five-star ratings) exist, but they are vastly outweighed by the prevalence of one-star ratings (71 percent), which cite substandard materials, poor longevity, and unmet expectations relative to the premium pricing. Shoppers consistently express disappointment that jewelry at this price point fails to perform during basic, everyday wear.

Had such a great experience at the store. I ordered jewelry boxes and necklaces online for the holidays and went to exchange one box for a different color at the mall location. Later when I was wrapping gifts, I realized I'd accidentally left a necklace in the box I'd returned. I was so frustrated with myself, but when I went back the next day and explained what happened, the staff member was incredibly understanding and kind. She replaced the necklace without any hassle. It meant so much to get that level of care during a hectic holiday season.
Kendra Scott Review FAQ
What is Kendra Scott's overall rating based on?
The store is rated 1.7 out of 5 based on 21 recent customer reviews submitted to RetailCoupons.com. The rating reflects shoppers' actual experiences with product quality, durability, shipping, and customer service.
What are the most common complaints about Kendra Scott?
The primary complaints center on product quality and durability. Shoppers report that jewelry tarnishes, scratches, or develops discoloration within weeks or months of normal wear, despite the premium pricing. Plating flakes off, causing skin irritation and discoloration around the neck. Additionally, customers mention defective closures on earrings, loose charms, and poor customer service responses when attempting to address these issues. Late deliveries and unresponsive support are also recurring concerns.
Do customers feel the jewelry is worth the price?
No. Multiple reviewers explicitly state that the quality does not justify the cost. Shoppers compare the jewelry to costume pieces or accessories typically found at much lower price points (around $10), making the $50-$70+ price tags feel unreasonable for pieces that fail within months. Customers expected better durability and material quality at these price levels.
What is Kendra Scott's customer service like?
Reviews indicate poor customer service. When customers have experienced defective products, they report that the company provides unhelpful responses, sometimes suggesting they visit a physical store hours away for repairs rather than offering replacements. Shoppers describe the company as not caring about their concerns and being unwilling to resolve issues.
Would shoppers recommend Kendra Scott?
Based on the review distribution, the vast majority of recent shoppers would not recommend the store. Seventy-one percent of reviews are one-star ratings, indicating dissatisfaction. Only 14 percent gave five-star ratings, suggesting that most customers do not view this as a reliable jewelry source given the quality issues and durability problems documented in reviews.
