What Shoppers Say About LoveShackFancy
LoveShackFancy has a severely troubled customer service record, with 22 shoppers rating the store 1.4 out of 5. The overwhelming majority of negative reviews cite fulfillment errors (wrong items shipped, missing products, damaged packaging), unresponsive customer service, and broken promises about restocks and follow-up. Customers report long wait times for responses, unfulfilled commitments to send goodwill gestures, and misleading product availability information. A small number of satisfied customers praise the aesthetic appeal and quality of the merchandise itself, though they acknowledge that positive experiences may be underreported relative to complaints.
For a luxury brand positioned around beautiful home and apparel items, the operational failures documented in reviews are particularly damaging. Issues range from basic packaging and shipping competence to communication breakdowns where customers report being given contradictory information or ignored after complaints. Even when the company eventually resolves problems, the process often requires multiple follow-ups from frustrated customers who have already invested significant money in purchases.

Sorted by: Most recentLove Shack Fancy is amazing and my whole bedroom is decked out in their stuff. If you're into beautiful and elegant pieces, this is the place for you. A lot of the reviews on here are negative, but honestly that's just because people who have bad experiences are more likely to write reviews, while happy customers like me don't always think to post. I just got back from the store and the staff was so kind with excellent service. The quality is great and just because some people had issues doesn't mean you will. Don't pay attention to the negative comments trying to tear them down. If you're going for that coquette elegant clean girl vibe, it's perfect. Definitely check out their pottery barn room collection too because it's super cute.
I'm really let down by my experience with this brand. I placed a fully paid order but customer service gave me wrong information about fragrance shipping and availability in the UK. When I complained about it formally, they promised a goodwill gesture and said they'd escalate it to management. Over a week later, nothing. No follow up, no update, no apology from anyone in charge. Instead, they sent me incorrect tracking info for a totally different order and left me hanging. For a brand at their level, this isn't acceptable. They made promises they didn't keep, didn't communicate, and gave me misleading information that caused real stress. This was supposed to be a gift for my daughter based on their promotions and she was excited about it. I'd strongly recommend being careful before ordering internationally. The company needs to improve how they respond to customers and be more transparent before I could ever suggest them to anyone.
I waited forever for an expensive two-piece from their Resort collection to restock. When it finally came available, I bought the skirt for $995 right away. It sold out immediately. When my package arrived, I opened it to find two children's plaid skirts instead of what I ordered. The customer service team did fix it eventually, but I had to send back the wrong items and wait for them to receive them before getting my refund. They didn't even try to find the skirt I wanted in any of their other locations. Just said sorry it's sold out. Really frustrated with how the warehouse handled this and all the hassle to fix their mistake.
This is the worst company I've dealt with, and I've been a customer for years, spending thousands here. My order showed up half open, barely sealed with one sad piece of tape, and covered in huge Love Shack branding that basically screamed 'come tamper with this.' The cooler I paid for was completely missing, the claw clip was broken, and when I tried to get help, they wouldn't answer my calls or emails for the longest time. When they finally responded, they promised a replacement claw clip but three weeks later it's still stuck on 'being prepared.' As for the missing cooler, they refused to replace it and tried to blame me for not getting shipping protection. That's ridiculous since it's the company's job to deliver what you paid for, not push responsibility onto FedEx or anyone else. They market themselves as luxury but send out cheap packaging, incomplete orders, and then vanish when you need help. I'm doing a chargeback with my bank and telling everyone to skip this brand. Don't give them your money.
When they dropped the Stanley cup collaboration, I placed two orders with gift wrapping. One arrived on time, but the other showed 'label created' and was still in that status 15 days later. I emailed and was told it probably just wasn't updating right and that all Stanley orders had definitely shipped. Then they said they sent a 'complementary replacement order' but it's been three weeks. When I checked, the replacement didn't include the gift wrapping charge. I emailed again and they said Stanley items don't qualify for gift wrapping, even though my other order that arrived definitely had gift wrapping. They only refunded the gift wrap fee after I called them out on it. Their customer service approach is really frustrating and misleading.
An item on their site said to sign up for restock notifications, so I did. When I reached out to ask about it, they told me they actually had no plans to restock that item at all.
This company is seriously the worst. I bought a pajama set for over $200 and only received the top. When I opened it, the top was way too small, like it was made for a five year old, and the bottom was missing entirely. I packed it back up and sent it back. They only credited me $10 out of the whole purchase. It's a total scam. The only reason I even tried them was because of the Stanley collaboration, which is actually pretty nice, but the items sold out in minutes so it seems like they don't make enough. I was lucky to get what I wanted and they look good. But the regular clothing is terrible. The styles would only look right on someone who weighs 90 pounds and is basically exposing themselves. I'm 120 pounds and would never wear their stuff or let my 16 year old daughter wear it because it's inappropriate. Maybe they specialize in kids clothes since that's actually cute. For a high end brand, the pricing seems right for that level, but half the stuff has horrible quality. The pajama material was way worse than basic Victoria's Secret pink pajamas.
I would never do business with this company again. Beyond receiving items that are defective, they charge premium prices and make the return process incredibly difficult. When you try to send something back, it takes almost a month to get your money back and they keep questioning why you shipped it a certain way, asking why you didn't use their method, even though they're the ones who sent you the label and tracking number. It doesn't matter how you send it back. I still have my drop off receipt as proof it was delivered. I'm still waiting for that refund. I've had to file a dispute with my credit card company at this point.
Been shopping here for years, but my recent experience was really disappointing. I got the Palo Americana Fleece Pullover with an American flag design for $200, and after just one wash and wear it started pilling like crazy. When I reached out to customer service, Anna basically blamed me for removing the tags instead of actually helping. No empathy, no attempt to make things right. Just really bad customer service overall.
I ordered a dress for my daughter's upcoming dance. I got an order confirmation but never got a shipping notification. After ordering on Friday, I didn't hear anything so I called the local store to check on it. That's when they told me my order was actually canceled and my money was being returned to my bank account. The problem? The refund never actually came through. And they never bothered to tell me the order was canceled in the first place.
