What Shoppers Say About Mavi
Mavi has received uniformly negative feedback from shoppers, with all 13 reviews rating the store at just 1.0 out of 5. Customers report serious quality issues with jeans, including fabric defects, poor stitching, rapid color fading, and garments falling apart within months of normal wear. Multiple reviewers also cite unresponsive and unhelpful customer service, with the company allegedly refusing refunds or credits, demanding excessive documentation, or requiring customers to return damaged items before addressing complaints.
Beyond product quality, shoppers have experienced additional frustrations with Mavi's operations: inaccurate size charts with no willingness to correct them, vague or missing shipping timelines that leave orders untracked for extended periods, and a general lack of accountability. Long-time customers report feeling abandoned after years of loyalty, and reviewers consistently recommend shopping elsewhere rather than risk purchasing from this retailer.

Sorted by: Most recentBack in early February, I grabbed a pair of black jeans from their premium line and spent a lot of money on them, counting on the brand's reputation for quality. Now I feel like I just threw my cash in the trash. Here's what went down: after my first wash and wearing them, the fabric started acting strange like it was magnetic or something. It was collecting dust, lint, and fibers constantly and no amount of cleaning kept it from happening. Then the material started getting lumpy with pilling all over different spots. I went to a store location and even the staff who looked at them agreed something was clearly wrong. They had me send the jeans in for a technical review. A few days later I got word that they found no defects. I was let down big time. Given how messed up the pants actually are, I have serious doubts they even did a real thorough inspection.
No one holds them accountable. They don't stand by anything they sell. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else entirely.
Their size chart is way off and led me to order the wrong sizes. When I asked them to fix it, they refused to make any changes.
I'd been a loyal Mavi buyer for years until this happened. I contacted their support team about a clearly broken pair of jeans and sent multiple photos plus my order info. Even after lots of back-and-forth and escalating to management, they wouldn't give me a refund or credit without me shipping the damaged jeans back. Since the jeans were unwearable and the defect was obvious, this wasn't acceptable. Their only offer was a 30 percent discount on something else, which doesn't make up for paying for a broken product. The whole experience felt inflexible and uncaring. Really disappointed in their customer support.
Ordered a pair of jeans on April 16th and still no sign of it by the 24th. Zero updates on the order status. When I reached out to customer service, they told me delivery takes 14 days and said to contact them again if nothing shows up by April 30th. This timeline isn't posted anywhere on their site. Seems like they're probably waiting for inventory to come in from overseas. Plenty of other brands out there that handle this better. Would skip Mavi if I were you.
These jeans fell apart. They came with two large rips in the lower legs that just kept getting bigger over less than two years of normal wear. I called customer service and they wanted like five pages of documentation before lifting a finger. The whole line seems poorly made with inconsistent stitching and the color fades super fast. Take your product back.
Product quality is really poor. What arrived doesn't match what was shown online. Better to look elsewhere.
These golf shirts were a total letdown. They looked completely different from the pictures on the website. The fabric was cheap polyester with color that only dyed one side. I tried contacting them at least 20 times about returning them and getting my money back like they promised, but all I got were automated replies saying I had to send the stuff back to a manufacturer overseas first. Don't fall for this like I did. It's basically a dropshipping operation.
I accidentally bought the same thing twice and a customer service rep promised it would be easy to return one. A month later when things finally showed up, I got sent to a different department to ask for return shipping info. I provided all their requested details and understood I'd pay for the shipping myself, even though they brand themselves locally where I live but apparently ship everything from overseas. Still haven't heard back from them about how to send anything back. They're quick to charge your card but impossible to reach once you need help. Pretty sketchy operation.
I bought a denim jacket and waited seven days without any tracking number or updates. When I contacted them, they said the next day that there was a technical problem and my order couldn't go out. They refunded me, but the site claims it ships to certain regions which apparently isn't accurate. Pretty frustrated with the whole situation.
