I wouldn't have ordered these if I'd known returning them would cost me 30 bucks. It took a week just to get them, and they arrived with some scratches on them. I figured they'd get roughed up at work anyway so I didn't mind at first. But after only 20 minutes of wearing them around the house, I realized they weren't for me. At 265 dollars, they felt cheaply made. I sent photos and they asked me to send them back, but a week later they showed up at my door saying they weren't returnable. That's ridiculous. After tons of back and forth emails, I finally spoke to a manager who claimed the insurance team said the soles were worn, which wasn't even true. They didn't even mention the existing scuffs. How can an insurance team sell boots that already have damage on them? That defeats the purpose of having insurance. This was the worst experience I've had with any company. Stay away from ordering from them online. And 30 dollars to return boots is absolutely ridiculous.
Got a pair of Thorogood boots about five months ago and they've already split at the seams. My previous pair lasted over four years, which is why I bought the same brand again.
