This store has a no-return policy, so watch out. You're better off going to a physical store or ordering through Amazon instead. If you buy from here and the boots don't fit right or feel uncomfortable, you're stuck with them.

I wouldn't have ordered these if I'd known returning them would cost me 30 bucks. It took a week just to get them, and they arrived with some scratches on them. I figured they'd get roughed up at work anyway so I didn't mind at first. But after only 20 minutes of wearing them around the house, I realized they weren't for me. At 265 dollars, they felt cheaply made. I sent photos and they asked me to send them back, but a week later they showed up at my door saying they weren't returnable. That's ridiculous. After tons of back and forth emails, I finally spoke to a manager who claimed the insurance team said the soles were worn, which wasn't even true. They didn't even mention the existing scuffs. How can an insurance team sell boots that already have damage on them? That defeats the purpose of having insurance. This was the worst experience I've had with any company. Stay away from ordering from them online. And 30 dollars to return boots is absolutely ridiculous.

Got a pair of Thorogood boots about five months ago and they've already split at the seams. My previous pair lasted over four years, which is why I bought the same brand again. Now Midwest Boots is saying that since it's been more than a week, I'm responsible for shipping costs. They might try to fix them, and if that doesn't work they might send a replacement, but it could take three to six weeks. These are my work boots for emergency services and I can't be without them for that long.

Their return policy is misleading. I spent over 40 dollars to ship back boots that were killing my feet. After that, they stopped responding to my messages and calls. It took forever to find out they wouldn't do anything for me because I'd worn them for a few hours. Biggest ripoff in the entire boot industry.

Don't trust what their return policy says. I spent 200 dollars on thorogood boots expecting them to be good since they're made in the USA, but they were terrible. My feet hurt for days trying to break them in. I called customer service and they told me to ship them back at my own cost. After I did that, they mailed them right back saying there was nothing wrong, just a small scuff on the heel. I've ordered from them for years without needing to return anything, so when this happened I was shocked at how I was treated. Skip them and buy local where you won't run into this kind of hassle.
