What Shoppers Say About Mike’s Bikes
Mike's Bikes has a deeply divided customer base. On the positive side, shoppers praise the team's product knowledge and responsiveness, with some customers highlighting excellent email support and helpful guidance through purchases, even from remote locations. However, the majority of reviews reflect serious concerns: customers report unresponsive customer service (unanswered emails, unreachable phones, only chatbot responses), issues with counterfeit or misrepresented products (including a fake Cannondale bike), problems with product documentation (missing serial numbers affecting warranty coverage), and difficulties with email list management and data privacy requests.
The stark contrast in ratings suggests Mike's Bikes may deliver well for some customers but fails significantly for others, particularly when issues arise that require follow-up support. Multiple reviewers question the legitimacy of the business, citing frustration with support systems that appear "deliberately designed to frustrate." The patterns of complaints around unresponsiveness and product authenticity are concerning enough that potential shoppers should proceed with caution and verify product authenticity and warranty details before purchasing.

Sorted by: Most recentCan't complain about my online order. I was searching everywhere for those specific road bike tires and found them here at a fair price. Shipping happened fast and they kept me informed every step of the way with tracking updates. Everything went smoothly, and I got exactly what I needed. The only reason for four stars instead of five is there really wasn't much that could have gone wrong with such a straightforward order.
Bought two bikes from them this month and received both within fourteen days, which is remarkable considering shipping carriers were dealing with serious delays from weather problems in that region. They answered my questions quickly and efficiently. Despite high demand for bikes everywhere, they still managed to get both orders out promptly.
Grabbed two bikes from them this month and had both arrive within about two weeks, which was impressive given that shipping delays were happening everywhere due to weather issues affecting carriers. They got back to me quickly whenever I had questions. Even with everyone scrambling to get bikes, they managed to deliver on time. Really solid experience.
Purchased a Specialized rock hopper and after taking it out just three times for rides around my neighborhood, the rear derailleur snapped and got tangled in the wheel. Only went about six miles total with zero aggressive terrain. Reached out to them and waited three days for a response that was mostly explaining how swamped they are, followed by basically saying there's nothing they can do besides selling me replacement parts for a brand new bike. Definitely avoid buying from them. Their support is terrible.
