What Shoppers Say About millers.com.au
Miller's has a severely negative reputation, rated 1.6 out of 5 by 25 shoppers. The overwhelming majority of reviews (80 percent one-star) cite serious issues including apparent scam operations, misleading geographic claims (presenting as Canadian when actually based in China), poor product quality, inconsistent sizing, extremely long shipping times, and nonexistent customer service. Reviewers report difficulty obtaining refunds or exchanges, unused gift cards that become worthless, and a general sense that the business operates deceptively. A small minority (12 percent five-star reviews) suggest some customers had positive experiences, but these are vastly outnumbered by complaints about the company's integrity and operational practices.
Shopping at Miller's carries significant risk based on customer feedback. Prospective buyers consistently warn others away, citing the combination of questionable business practices, merchandise quality concerns, and unresponsive support channels. The pattern of complaints about store closures, unexplained order processing delays, and gift card validity issues suggests underlying operational instability. Most reviewers explicitly recommend avoiding this retailer entirely.

Sorted by: Most recentI ordered clothes from Miller's online closing down sale earlier this year. I spent over two and a half hours going through the selection really carefully. The website looked professional and legit, especially since they kept showing items as sold out, which made me think they weren't operating some kind of scam. I'd bought from their physical stores before and was satisfied. Since they said they were closing, I figured they just wanted to clear out inventory. I had no clue they were based in China or I wouldn't have ordered at all. Weeks went by and nothing showed up. I got scammed. I've learned my lesson about ordering from closing down sales online where there's no way to track your stuff or contact anyone.
These people are not Canadian. They're in China and the whole operation is a scam. Don't order from them. The quality is terrible and the customer service is fake. Once you order, there's no way to exchange or return anything, you're stuck with it. You'll regret ordering, trust me. I only ordered because I saw Canadian mentioned and didn't check the reviews like I normally do.
The website has a sketchy feel to it. Why is absolutely everything half off? I looked at the reviews and decided not to order. Not going anywhere near them. It's all cheap stuff shipped from China and it takes forever to get here.
A woman I care for has a disability and shops at Miller's on the Gold Coast regularly. She bought some clothes in late October and we went back on the 28th to exchange them because they were the wrong size. We couldn't find anything else, so we asked for store credit instead. They gave her a $70 gift card. This week when we tried to use it, we were told that as of the exchange date, she'd have to spend $70 of her own money just to be able to use that $70 credit. That's completely unfair. We called head office and they won't budge on it. The company's in administration now so who knows what'll happen next.
The sizing is completely off. Way too big. Everything's made in China but they try to make it seem like it's Canadian. Skip this company.
Wish I'd checked the reviews first. My local store recently closed, but I'd just bought stuff online a few days before that. Besides getting a PayPal confirmation, I got nothing from Miller's acknowledging my order. After three days I checked my account thinking it would've shipped by then. I tried to send an email but the order number kept getting rejected as invalid, even when I copy and pasted it. The next day Australia Post notified me about a delivery, but still nothing from Miller's saying my order had been processed.
Should have read the reviews before I ordered online. The only communication I got was a vague message saying it's on the way. No tracking, no idea where it's coming from, no contact information anywhere on the website, and every email address is a no-reply setup. Other companies like KMart and The Warehouse give you solid tracking and regular updates on your orders. This place is just pathetic. Avoid them.
Got luggage from Miller's online through a third party supplier called bdirect. The package showed up ripped and the bag had scuff marks all over it. Miller's and bdirect never sent any updates about when the order was arriving. Australia Post handled the shipping. No invoice came with it either. The luggage was just left under a tree by the mailbox. If I could rate this zero, I would. Won't be shopping at Miller's at all anymore.
Ordered some items from Miller's online recently and now I'm hunting everywhere for the e-receipt so I can return them, but I've got nothing from Miller's for this purchase. Thank goodness I have confirmation through Afterpay or I'd be completely lost. I even have an account with them and the purchase doesn't show up there. How are you supposed to return something when there's zero record of it?
Went into a Miller's store and couldn't believe the attitude I got. My mother-in-law gave me a top for my birthday with the tags still on. It didn't fit and I brought it back with the receipt and everything. The staff member literally told me tough luck, I own it now. She even mentioned they have the machines to reattach tags, but refused to help. I told her I'd never shop there again and that I'd tell everyone I know to avoid the place. Her response was basically oh well. Extremely disappointed.
