Absolutely terrible service. I'd do anything to not be stuck with their system. Don't go near them unless you enjoy getting no answers and paying for repairs that their incompetence caused in the first place.
Ordered a part and got sent the wrong one. I waited until almost the last day of their 30-day return window to call and request a return label. Got a guy named Joe on the phone who's a RMA manager. This guy was absolutely unprofessional, refused to acknowledge any mistake on their part, and literally hung up on me after threatening to refuse my return altogether. I'd strongly advise staying away from this company. Shop somewhere else instead.
I got an Essential Care Plan from Mopar.com that includes two oil changes at dealerships. When I tried booking at a couple different dealerships, they wanted to charge me an extra $40 per oil change on top of the plan. I contacted Mopar about it and they said dealerships set their own rates and there's nothing they could do. I pointed out that I provided my VIN when buying the plan so they knew what vehicle it was, which is literally why they suggested that specific plan. Even though they sell it right on their website, they wouldn't make sure the price matched what I'd pay. That's poor service.
Mopar was completely unhelpful when dealing with the Jeep dealership where I kept taking my vehicle for the same repair problem. I had to use my extended warranty the second time the air conditioning blower failed within four months, which came with a higher deductible. Neither the dealership nor Mopar took any responsibility for the faulty part or the repeat failure.
Now they're pushing me to buy an extended warranty even though they refused to replace a steering stabilizer bar at two different dealerships because the manufacturer said it needed more play than what mine had. Picked up a better quality aftermarket bar for just ten bucks more and it fixed everything. Why would I buy extended coverage when you set your warranty requirements so high that you barely have to cover anything during your three-year, 36,000 mile warranty? It'd be foolish to buy anything from you again.
The defective Mopar 25K Fifth Wheel Hitch was bad enough, but their customer service department was somehow even worse. They basically trained their team to drag things out so long that customers give up in frustration. They transfer you around, put you on hold for nearly an hour, promise callbacks that never come - it's a nightmare tactic. Won't buy from them ever again and regret the purchase. This has been going on since January 2023 when their defective hitch caused over seven grand in damage to my truck.
This website is a pain to navigate. I couldn't get their payment system to work so I found another site selling the same thing and ordered from them instead. If your site isn't easy to use, people will shop elsewhere. It's not hard to fix but based on other reviews here, I'm surprised they stay in business.
I own a Lifetime Maximum Care Mopar Vehicle Protection warranty on a 2012 Dodge Durango that went into effect on 3/22/2012. I spent serious money on it. Took the Durango to a Dodge dealership in Colorado in late February because the engine had a weird sound. They found a lifter going bad and said the correct fix is replacing the camshaft and all the lifters. The warranty specifically lists these items under cylinder block and internal parts coverage. The engine isn't shot and doesn't burn excess oil. I'm very particular about car maintenance and only use quality synthetic motor oil. It took over a month just to hear back from Mopar Vehicle Protection. Then on March 28th they said they were buying out my warranty based on what they think the vehicle is worth now - eight grand according to them. It would be worth more if the dealership had fixed a damaged center console back when they offered to do it and I approved it. Since they didn't, that's hurting the value today.
Twelve days went by without any update on my part order. I got frustrated and fired off an angry email, and suddenly a shipping label appeared the same day. Now I've got to sit around another week waiting for it to arrive. I will absolutely not be ordering from them again and I'm telling everyone I know to look elsewhere.
