Pet Supplies Plus Reviews

I've been a regular customer for over a year, mainly because they have a self-serve dog washing station that I use almost twice a week. I've also picked up other supplies there on occasion. When I stopped by today, I was really disappointed to see a window poster advertising puppies from what looked like a backyard breeding operation. I brought this up with the employee at the register and explained how problematic it is, especially given that our area is known for puppy mill activity. The cashier basically shrugged it off and said they were just trying to help. Help who exactly? Unlicensed breeders operating out of someone's backyard who are churning out unhealthy, unregistered dogs for profit? That's the real issue here. Every time someone buys a dog this way, it means one less dog sitting in a shelter waiting for a loving home. I find it really disappointing that the company allows this kind of advertising when every major pet retailer has moved away from selling animals and focuses on supporting adoption instead. It's backwards and honestly shameful. I'm going to take my business to another grooming place down the road. Yeah, it costs a bit more, but I'd rather support a business that doesn't promote these kinds of practices. I'd absolutely change my rating if they took that sign down and committed to not putting up similar ads in the future.
