Their customer service is absolutely terrible. For products at this price point, you'd expect them to actually have a functioning support team. I sent two emails with zero response. When I finally got through on the phone, nobody offered me any kind of help with my issue. This experience alone has completely turned me off from ever buying their stuff again.

I actually like the Pureology products themselves, but ordering online was a nightmare. I made a mistake on my phone and immediately tried to cancel, but there's no option to do that. I placed a second order for the right item instead. Since it was after hours, I emailed customer service asking them to cancel the wrong order. Four days went by with no reply. Then I got emails saying they were behind on orders, so I called to cancel. They claimed they process orders instantly and can't cancel anything, but I can return it myself and pay for shipping and restocking. I pointed out they'd sent me an apology email saying my order hadn't even been processed yet. I asked for a manager. The manager said the same thing and wouldn't cancel it either. I asked for someone higher up who could actually cancel orders, since this whole situation seems ridiculous.

Their strength shampoo turned my hair brassy and now it's becoming thin and shedding everywhere. Plus it gets super sticky even 10 minutes after I rinse it. Skip this product completely.

This is honestly the best sulfate-free shampoo I've tried for my long hair extensions. It also has an amazing scent.

I do like their shampoo, actually. Since I can't find it anywhere locally, I set up a subscription back in spring to get a bottle delivered twice a year. Yesterday morning I got an email saying my order was complete. That freaked me out because I never placed one. Plus, they didn't send me the usual heads-up email a few days before the subscription order was supposed to ship. I thought my account got hacked, but then I figured out that Pureology just never notified me the order was coming. I contacted them immediately, just hours after they sent that email. They emailed back saying it was too late to stop it, and I'd have to mail it back at my own cost. When I called them, same answer. No way to cancel and no prepaid return label. Both times I reached out, I explained that I had gotten zero notification my order would be shipped.

Got platinum blonde highlights done on Friday. My stylist used Pureology Fanatic Color leave-in conditioner before blow drying, and when I got home my hair turned yellow. I called their company four times. They said a hair care specialist would contact me back and never did. I spent at least forty minutes on calls yesterday and today. This brand makes poor quality products and their support is nonexistent.
