What Shoppers Say About Purity Products
Purity Products has severe customer service and subscription management issues that dominate shopper feedback. The overwhelming majority of complaints center on cancellation difficulties: customers report being unable to cancel subscriptions through the website, experiencing long hold times and transfers between representatives, and facing resistance from staff who attempt to convince them to keep products or switch to alternative deals. Multiple reviewers describe the cancellation process as a deliberate obstacle, with some noting that the website allows easy signup but provides no cancellation option online, forcing customers to navigate phone support.
A small minority of long-term customers report positive experiences with the company's joint health formulas and supplement quality, praising specific product effectiveness and noting that their own cancellations were eventually processed. However, these positive experiences are vastly outnumbered by complaints about payment method restrictions (no PayPal option) and customer service accessibility issues. The consensus among recent reviewers is that while the products themselves may have merit, the subscription and cancellation process creates significant friction that deters purchase consideration.

Sorted by: Most recentTheir so called 'free' green tea extract? That'll cost you $4.95. Also, it's pretty funny how the people in their infomercials keep telling viewers they need to dial a 1 before the 800 number. That's ridiculously outdated advice. Nobody dialing from a cell phone needs to do that, and landline users have known this since the 80s. Come on.
I ordered a trial pack over the phone and was charged a shipping fee right away on my card. When the package arrived via UPS, there was an additional shipping bill of over $12 attached, which I refused to pay. I contacted Purity to ask what was going on. They told me they'd refund my original charge within 3 to 5 business days, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm really questioning whether this business operates with any ethical standards.
My first order from purity products seemed fine, but when I went back to reorder the same item, they said it wasn't available anymore. Instead, they threw in a replacement item plus two additional products that supposedly made up the price difference. Since then I've had nothing but headaches. I called multiple times and kept getting told items were out of stock via email. I switched back to a company I'd worked with for years because Purity just doesn't come close to their quality.
I would give zero stars if I could. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I placed an order and the items never showed up. Then I saw charges of $124.75 on my account for products I didn't receive. When I called to complain, they wanted my billing and shipping info, which are identical. They insisted I directed them to ship everything to a completely different address that I've never provided and don't recognize. When I told them that wasn't true, they refused to send my money back even though they charged me twice, totaling almost $250. This is straight up unethical and dishonest.
I turned off the automatic renewal for my subscription, yet they delivered it anyway. Now I have to pay to ship it back and cross my fingers that their accounting team will actually put the refund back on my card. Once I get that sorted out, I'm planning to close this credit card entirely so they can't keep charging me for stuff I clearly don't want. This company is completely unethical.
WATCH OUT!!!! This company puts you on automatic shipments and keeps sending products even after you've canceled. I got so frustrated that I deleted my payment method on file, but they still went ahead with charges using an old PayPal account I'd used before. Oh, and that Biotin they're pushing? Complete waste of money. It does absolutely nothing. Do yourself a favor and skip this company entirely.
