Bought the Satechi Slim W1 Wired USB-C Backlit Keyboard at a store while traveling and discovered it has a defect where single key presses trigger multiple characters due to a bouncing issue. I only noticed this after getting home, so I couldn't return it to where I bought it. Keyboards have been around forever, so you'd think in recent years companies like Satechi would nail the basics of preventing key bounce. Unfortunately this model has exactly that problem. To their credit, Satechi agreed to replace it free even though I bought it overseas, though they made a point of saying this was an exception. I did warn them that the issue seems baked into the design itself, not just my unit. Their customer service wasn't as bad as I feared, but I'm frustrated that I have to use workaround software on my Mac to fix a design flaw that shouldn't exist in the first place.

Fantastic customer service! I got a Satechi X1 Slim Keyboard in March, and after three months some keys quit working. I contacted them through their website chat and they handled it right away. They asked for my receipt, a video of the issue, and my shipping address, then sent me a replacement that arrived just two days later! I've been using Satechi products for three years now and plan to continue for years to come.

Outstanding customer support! I had a couple of problems with my order but their staff made the whole experience great. Their team was so responsive and helpful that I actually searched online specifically to give them a positive review! I'm not sure if other reviews are fake or if the company overhauled their customer service, but the experience I had seems like it came from a completely different company. I've dealt with their team three times (pre-order, order, and support) and every single time they were quick, courteous, clear, and open to my feedback. Shopping at Satechi feels safe to me now. If something goes wrong, they'll fix it.

Really disappointed with the construction on this one. I ordered what was supposed to be an aluminium product at a price point matching that description, but the actual product had a plastic body and was incredibly poorly made. The components literally fell apart when I first pulled it out of a USB port.

One of the worst dongle experiences I've had. Bought the Satechi 3.1 USB-C adapter and it worked great at first (though it does feel flimsy and isn't even the right color). Three days in and it stopped working completely. Only the charging port functions now. I won't be buying another Satechi product ever.
