I switched to ShopHairWigs from another supplier I'd been using. Overall I've been pretty let down by my experience. The prices are decent and delivery was quick, but out of all the wigs I got, only about 2 of them (the Finn and Fara styles) actually matched what I saw on the website pictures and packaging. The rest looked completely different from what I expected. Really frustrating and felt like I wasted my money. I didn't even bother returning them and just tossed them. I'm going to have to look for somewhere else to buy my wigs.
I went with the priority shipping option but three days later I still don't have a tracking number. I emailed customer service and haven't heard back. I won't be ordering with them again and I'm switching back to other retailers instead.
I ordered before leaving on a trip and got an email saying the items were in stock at their warehouse. Then after waiting two weeks they suddenly cancelled the whole order and refunded me because the items weren't actually available. This is exactly why I usually shop at local beauty supply shops instead. They wasted two weeks of my time.
Worst experience with customer service I've ever had. Don't order from here. I placed an order for two wigs and literally a minute later emailed them to request a color change on one of them because the color that came up at checkout wasn't what I'd originally picked. They only have email, no phone line to call. They responded saying the order hadn't processed yet so they could make the change. Then within the hour I got a text saying my order was shipping. I reached out asking if they'd made the color change and they said no because it was still being processed so they just shipped everything as is. I've never seen worse customer service. This all happened in just 1-2 hours. I won't be ordering again. I should've read the negative reviews first. I won't be ordering from them or their sister company ebonyline either.
This used to be my go-to company for wigs but not anymore. I've spent thousands of dollars ordering from them over time. They used a shipping carrier that delivered my package to the wrong location. The carrier basically told me it wasn't their problem and said I should contact ShopHairWigs to file a claim. When I emailed them (email being the only contact option), they basically told me I was out of luck and that I should've paid extra for a signature requirement on delivery, even though anyone could've signed for it anyway which wouldn't guarantee anything. Once the carrier dismissed my issue and ShopHairWigs responded like that, I knew I was done for. I order from them 3-4 times monthly and as a long-time customer, it feels like they're saying 'we got your money, next time you'll know better.' I'm not expecting this to go anywhere but wanted to warn other buyers about what could happen.
The products are great and the customer service is excellent with really quick replies. Definitely placing another order soon!
I'm really upset with how this company handled my order. I bought two wigs for $60.97 total. I waited weeks and never got a tracking number. When I contacted them through PayPal they said I'd have to wait until they received the order back before getting a refund. I asked for a tracking number to confirm if it was even shipped and they ignored me. I escalated with PayPal and they had the nerve to offer me only a partial refund for an order that was never shipped or delivered.
