Their website had issues. I called customer service and the person said they didn't know how to help. I asked if IT staff existed and he said yes, but he couldn't get in touch with them. I asked for a supervisor and he said maybe one would talk to me. I waited 10 minutes and hung up.

Don't trust their website with your payment info or orders. I was adding stuff to my cart to finish shopping the next day. When I came back, the order had gone through without my permission. Then I had multiple issues where orders had the same number and things were missing. It was a complete mess. Trying to remove my credit card requires you to add a new one instead, which is ridiculous. There's no way on the site to delete your account, you have to call them and they say they'll put in a request. I did that and a week later my account was still active. I called again and hope they actually fix it this time. You're better off shopping in person.

The Bellport Stop and Shop is really disappointing. It's way overpriced with barely any customer service. I had to go there on Thanksgiving for last minute stuff, the place was packed, and they clearly didn't staff up even though they knew it would be busy. If you're opening on a major holiday, you need to have proper help. Long lines are one thing, but I asked the flower department to put together a quick arrangement and they said no because the person working there was heading home early because they couldn't afford to pay her. So you're telling a paying customer no to giving you more money? That makes no sense. I talked to the manager Joe and he apologized, but when I joked that I was more sorry than him, he doubled down. Pretty laughable since he wasn't the one leaving empty handed. Get your act together or let someone like ShopRite take over. The Gallagher family knows how to treat people right. I'm shopping elsewhere from now on.

Went to Stop and Shop in Monroe today and the person at self checkout was hostile. They kept telling me I had to scan and put items on the tray before bagging, and repeated this five times until I told them I could hear them just fine. I said I'd done this before and knew how to bag groceries. When I scanned and bagged at the same time on the tray, they got mad again about the same thing. Really? If you have such a theft problem, hire actual staff instead of angry people. Stop and Shop keeps getting worse. Maybe you're trying to push everyone to ShopRite, Walmart, Target, or anywhere else. You're in customer service and angry workers with nonsense rules help nobody.

Stop and Shop location in Monroe is really unfriendly with not enough staff. I complained about this years ago and nothing changed. Show up early to grab a few items and you might find only one register operating. Then you see the self checkout option, which I hate because it takes away jobs from people who need work. The cashier just stands there looking grumpy, no greeting, no thank you, nothing. I've mentioned the same cashier's poor attitude before, clearly no training happened. Most of their staff is like this. It's why I basically stopped shopping there unless I absolutely have to. Nobody seems to care that customers are spending their hard earned money there.
