After the holidays she reached out and found out they'd stopped making it and nobody bothered to let us know. The first shirt wasn't really my style anyway, so I mailed it back on January 4th. We got confirmation they got it on January 9th. Then we started waiting for the refund. And waiting. And waiting. I called customer service on February 3rd, 4th, 19th, 25th and March 3rd. Every single call meant explaining the whole thing all over again since nobody had any record. Each rep swore up and down they'd get my refund processed in three to five days, with one promising it within twenty four to forty eight hours. Should've known that was just what they tell everyone. When I finally asked for a supervisor on March 12th, I was told she was busy and would call within an hour or so. It's now been a full day and I'm still waiting for that call.
Territory Ahead used to be great, selling really nice clothing at premium prices. I've spent good money there over the years and still get compliments on my purchases. Something changed though, probably a private equity buyout or something like that, and now it feels like everything fell apart behind the scenes. The staff seems like they're trying their best, but they're basically helpless when it comes to actually solving problems. Nobody tells you about stock issues ahead of time or backorder delays, so ordering is basically a gamble on whether you'll eventually get what you paid for.
I've read a lot of negative posts about Territory Ahead, so I wanted to share my really great experience. Bought a leather jacket last fall and it's honestly the best one I've ever owned. Excellent quality all around. Yeah, it's pretty heavy, but that comes with real leather. I've ordered other items from them too, usually when things go on sale. Never needed to return anything so I can't really comment on how their returns work, but my purchases have been fantastic.
Admittedly skeptical after reading some reviews online, but since I'd purchased from them previously, I decided to give them another shot. So glad I did. Really pleased with what showed up and the items are built to last.
