Watch what happens at checkout very carefully! I selected a black size 5 boot that showed available and let me add it to my cart. When my order arrived, Frye sent me a completely different size and color. Customer service explained they automatically switch you to a larger size if your original choice is out of stock, but don't update their online inventory to show it. Now I'm stuck paying to ship it back. I shop online constantly and this has never happened at any other retailer. Most companies won't even let you select something out of stock in the first place. Before you buy, call them directly to confirm they have what you're actually ordering.

My boots arrived on schedule and in perfect condition, but I had second thoughts and wanted to return them. They're $200 and I've been trying to reach anyone at the company for over four weeks through their contact form, phone, and email with zero response. At this point my only option might be to call my credit card company and report fraud. This is outrageous. I have a feeling when they finally do get back to me, they'll say the return window has closed. I really don't have another choice but to leave this review. I'm not doing this for fun.

I've been trying to get in touch with Frye for almost a week. Their phone line doesn't work, chat isn't available, and they're not responding to emails. They sent me the wrong boots and I can't even exchange them because they charge $12 for returns. This is completely unacceptable. The company has really dropped the ball.

Don't bother with this company. I ordered boots for my birthday and tried reaching them multiple times to check on my delivery status. No one answered my emails. Fortunately PayPal stepped in and gave me a refund since Frye wasn't responding. When I finally did connect with someone, they told me they're just a third party distributor for this brand, so that didn't help.

One says it hasn't shipped yet, another claims it left yesterday, but DHL says the label was created two weeks ago and they never got anything.
