What Shoppers Say About The Inside
The Inside has a polarized customer base. Shoppers who are satisfied praise the aesthetic appeal of furniture pieces and straightforward assembly instructions, noting that items match website photos and deliver comfort. However, a significant portion of reviewers report serious issues: extended shipping delays spanning months beyond stated delivery windows, inconsistent product quality between samples and finished items, structural problems such as wobbly frames and deteriorating components, and checkout system errors that resulted in accidental multiple orders. Many dissatisfied customers express concerns about overseas manufacturing transparency and lack of communication when delays occur.
Common complaints center on reliability and fulfillment rather than design. Reviewers report fabric quality mismatches, durability concerns with bed frames and sofas, and poor customer service responsiveness during manufacturing and shipping phases. The extended timelines (half a year or more for delivery) and inability of the company to track overseas production create frustration and erode customer confidence. Several reviewers indicate they would have preferred spending more with established competitors for guaranteed quality and reliability.

Sorted by: Most recentI can't recommend this website at this point. Ordered a chair in January with an expected late April arrival. It's now April 7 and they're saying it won't even begin shipping from overseas until April 20, then it'll take another six weeks or so to get here. That's over half a year for one chair. I'm not confident in this business and definitely wouldn't have purchased if I'd known about these crazy timelines.
Got a slipcovered bed and the quality was AWFUL. Wobbly as heck and the headboard is basically falling apart. Seriously regret not spending the extra money on a Restoration Hardware bed instead, since those are always well constructed and reliable.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Placed an order for a sofa in October and was told delivery would happen by December. Got a notification saying it was being made, which seemed promising. But as December wrapped up, I reached out asking when it would arrive. They told me they had no idea what stage the manufacturing was at since it's produced overseas, just that it would come 'soon'. Now it's mid-February and the order shows as delayed with no completion estimate available. This sofa cost me over $2,000 and this whole thing feels like a total scam. THE INSIDE IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY. Absolutely terrible.
Got a sample from THE INSIDE with really nice fabric in Citrine. Then purchased 2 pillows and a headboard in the supposedly 'same' fabric. Wrong. The pillows came with lower quality material and the color was totally different. The weave was noticeably worse than the sample too. It was labeled as cotton and linen but it honestly feels like cheap polyester...just junk.
Getting really concerned here. I've been trying to buy 2 twin beds for a week now, but after completing my purchase, I never got a confirmation. Checked my cart and they were still sitting there. So I placed the order again. Still nothing. Went through it a third time with the same result and made an account. Turns out SIX beds got ordered. Contacted them last week with no response. Tried again today and still nothing. Only email support available, no phone line. Honestly feel like I might be getting taken advantage of.
The delivery took forever, but eventually I received my comfortable, soft chair. I wish I could share a photo. Assembly was straightforward with clear instructions included, and it looks every bit as nice as shown on the website.
The staff judges you if your style preferences don't match theirs. Genuinely rude people.
This feels like a scam operation. My shirts have been in processing for almost a month now. I really needed these items quickly.
After trying a bunch of peel and stick wallpaper brands, this one has been my favorite by far. Not only are the designs really pretty, but the paper quality is top notch with excellent stickiness that still lets you adjust and reposition while hanging. Matching the pattern was straightforward and my space looks totally transformed.
Twin Slipcovered Bed and matching Custom Curtains, both in Jade Cherry Blossom: I'm absolutely thrilled with how these custom curtains turned out! The quality is fantastic and the pricing is fair. They look gorgeous paired with the slipcovered bed in the same pattern. My daughter is so happy with her new room!
