They'd rather lose a loyal customer than show a little understanding with their return rules. That's just bad business sense. My contractor ran a bit behind schedule on the job, which is why I needed to return things. The old assistant manager would have been more reasonable about it. Now I understand why he's no longer with them. I'm done shopping here. Anyone considering buying tiles - you might want to check out other options first.
From placing my order all the way through receiving it via shipping, everything went smoothly. The entire experience was fantastic and I'll definitely be back for my next purchase.
We had a good experience when we visited the local store in late summer to shop for bathroom tile and accessories - the sales rep gave us solid information and education. Unfortunately things got worse after we paid. We were charged four hundred and twenty five dollars for delivery to our home. A unmarked third party truck made the delivery, and it arrived with two pieces of pricey tile that were broken. The wooden pallets that were supposed to transport the tile ended up staying at our house. Two weeks later, replacement tile still isn't available and the store is saying we'll need to pick it up ourselves when it shows up. This whole experience has been pretty disappointing and expensive. We should have gotten much better service for what we paid.
I'm frustrated because they wouldn't give me credit for the tile I didn't use, especially as someone in the building trade. They told me I was past their return deadline by seventeen days. That's unacceptable. I was actually in the store looking to purchase a different tile when this came up. This isn't really set up as a place for builders to work with. I'll be finding another tile supplier.
