The driver then refused to hand over my food unless I paid them extra cash. I only got back fifty dollars of the hundred fifteen I spent. Still out sixty-five dollars. The same restaurant worked fine twice before, except the first time the driver showed up without a mask and no distancing. I'm steering clear now.
This is only the second awful review I've ever written. I normally try to be positive about companies when they do well. I'm furious right now. This place is a scam. I ordered a pickup on the twenty-fifth, showed up at the spot, and waited half an hour. The place was locked up but they charged me and showed them as available. I reported it same day and got a message saying it'd take time to respond. Nine days pass and when I finally hear back, they say they're keeping my money because of their policy. I asked for a manager twice and they completely refused to escalate. This is not acceptable business practice. Go straight to the restaurant instead. Companies that treat people right will make it through hard times, and it's clear this one doesn't care about their customers.
