Been on Veeps for a couple of concerts now, but had a really frustrating experience. I saw an ad promoting a rewatch of a Lucy Thomas performance from earlier in the year, so I bought access through the site. Once I completed the purchase though, it immediately told me the event was expired and couldn't be watched. When I contacted support about getting my money back, they offered a different concert instead. I explained that wasn't what I wanted and asked for a refund. Their response was they'd extend the expiration, but then only gave me a single weekday to view it. I objected and requested a full refund again. At that point they said the refund policy wasn't listed in their terms. I pointed out that selling expired content definitely wasn't in there either. Still waiting on my refund.
Streamed the Ghost 'Rite here rite now' film with my roommate and had a solid experience overall. The 4K streaming quality held up really well even when I mirrored it from my phone to the TV. Plus there was bonus Q&A material featuring Tobias Forge included with the rental. The main frustration was that pausing caused issues - whenever my phone locked and I hit play again, the video would jump back about thirty minutes, forcing me to hunt for where we actually were in the movie each time. Apart from that hiccup though, it was a great watch.
Complete waste of money. The stream was a disaster from start to finish with constant pixelation, freezing, audio cutting in and out, and the video just dropping. The whole thing was shorter than advertised too. Reached out asking for at least a partial refund but got nowhere. They don't seem to think it's their responsibility to fix anything.
