DON'T CREATE AN ACCOUNT WITH THESE PEOPLE! They won't let you delete your account even after you've only made one purchase years ago. This is unprofessional and immature. It's a small thing that causes major headaches for customers who used to shop there.
Stopped by the outlet location and the staff was all over the place and rude. One time you can get a military discount on a twenty dollar blanket, the next time they tell you no. Completely depends on who's working. I went to another outlet location in a different state and they had no problem applying my military ID to sale items. I'm done shopping at this brand and definitely won't go back to this specific store.
I ordered three masks that were supposedly made in the USA by the Vera Bradley team in Fort Wayne, Indiana based on what their website said. When they arrived, one was made in Vietnam and two were made in China. How is that made in America? The company needs to correct their listing because these definitely aren't USA-made products.
I picked up a baby bag from the outlet and it arrived with a tear in it. Getting through to customer service took forever and I kept getting transferred around before someone finally said I'd have to email about it. I sent pictures of the damage and my address for the replacement. Then they shipped the new bag to a place I haven't lived in half a decade, not where I'd specifically told them to send it. They did mail a second replacement to the correct address this time. The good news is it showed up without damage, but the overall craftsmanship is really not what I remember. There are loose stitches in places already. The handle looks like it was stitched over multiple times. The pockets aren't even straight. I'm grateful I got the outlet price, otherwise I wouldn't keep this bag. It's heartbreaking because I've been loyal to Vera Bradley for over fifteen years. After this whole mess and seeing the quality drop, I'm done shopping with them.
Back in August 2020 I ordered a full set including a shoulder bag, lunch box, embroidered backpack, and embroidered duffle from their website. They charged my card on August 17th and said everything would ship in 2 to 3 days. The lunch box and shoulder bag came fine, but when September rolled around with no word on the other items, I called customer service. They promised the backpack and duffle would arrive by the following week. Then on Saturday my duffle order got canceled because it was out of stock. The next day the backpack was canceled too. Now I'm stuck with a lunch box and purse that don't match anything else. That was the whole point of buying a coordinated set. I won't be ordering from them again.
Really let down by Vera Bradley today. They launched a new collection this morning and within minutes their website crashed. Customer service lines were down too. This was completely avoidable with better planning on their part. So frustrated and disappointed. Honestly deserve a zero star rating.
