Vilebrequin Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Vilebrequin
Vilebrequin receives overwhelmingly negative feedback, with shoppers reporting significant quality issues and poor customer service. Recurring complaints center on durability problems such as fading colors, material degradation, and accessories corroding after minimal use, particularly when exposed to salt water or normal wear. Customers express frustration that the brand charges premium prices while delivering mediocre quality, and they cite unresponsive customer support, inflexible return policies, and difficulty obtaining refunds or replacements even when products fail within warranty periods.
The small portion of positive feedback suggests some shoppers appreciate the product designs and aesthetic appeal. However, the overwhelming majority of reviews indicate that initial appearance does not reflect longevity, and that customer service interactions are dismissive and unhelpful. Multiple reviewers note they would continue purchasing if quality and support were improved, indicating the brand's potential is undermined by execution and customer care failures.

Sorted by: Most recentQuality here is really bad. Their accessories corrode and fall apart when exposed to salt water, and good luck getting them to replace anything unless you've kept your receipt. Who saves receipts from swimsuit purchases? This is just poor quality combined with terrible service, all while charging way too much.
Interviewing with them was a terrible experience. Went to their Sloane Square location and the manager was really unprofessional, asking me personal questions that were inappropriate. Another manager there was giving me bad looks and took a phone call right in the middle of the interview. I was genuinely disappointed and felt bad for the team working there.
You pay luxury prices but get mediocre quality. Looks fine when it arrives, but the colors fade super fast. My swim shorts turned into a dull grey. Wore them around the house for a bit, and after six months they just ripped and fell apart.
The products themselves are nice, but the online shopping experience is a nightmare. They never reply to emails and I've been waiting forever to get my refund since the size was wrong. Not ordering from them again, which is unfortunate because I really do like what they make and there aren't many other places that carry them.
Paid over $240 for this swimsuit and it faded. Worst part was it had a warranty, they admitted that, but then said there was nothing they could do about it. No refund, no replacement voucher, nothing. And they basically suggested it was my fault somehow. I have three other suits from them that are completely fine with no fading.
Customer service here is absolutely disgusting. I was three days past the return deadline on shorts I'd bought early for my son's birthday. They wouldn't even swap them for something different. They act like they're this premium brand and charge like it too, but they treat customers terribly. My husband owns five pairs and refuses to buy another one now.
Skip the flocked swimwear. The flock coating starts disappearing and fading after about a dozen wears. I've got several pairs without the flock and those are fine in terms of quality, but the flocked ones just don't hold up.
The quality is terrible. Colors fade quickly and white pieces get stained with yellow marks after swimming. The fabric itself is poor and falls apart. When I complained to the manager about it, they blamed my helpers for how they wash the clothes, but that doesn't make sense since those same people wash my kids' other swimwear and my Burberry pieces without any issues. If I could give zero stars I would. The hats fade fast too. Don't waste your money here.
Used it just four times in the pool and the color already faded badly. The material looked completely worn out. I've never seen anything fall apart this quickly. Spent over $1,150 and got the worst quality imaginable. The customer service was no help either. This has been my worst shopping experience ever.
I've been a loyal customer for a decade, but I'm completely done. Got my husband shorts as a Christmas present before our Thailand trip. After just a few days of wearing them, the shorts started to visibly fade. When I reported it with photos to customer support after we got home, they took forever to respond. Eventually they told me to bring them to a store for checking. I did that, and they said they'd call the next day. They never followed up, so I had to chase them weeks later for an answer. Now they're refusing to help me and won't refund or exchange, which I honestly would've accepted. Instead they made up a story about sunscreen causing the damage, which isn't true. It's weird that they'd blame sunscreen for fading when these shorts are literally made for sun and water activities. The product was clearly defective and it's no longer even available.
