While their actual products are decent enough, there are three major issues with how this site operates. First, the shipping charges are completely out of control. You'll find that delivery costs match or even exceed what you're paying for the items themselves, and buying multiple items doesn't help at all. The final price ends up being roughly double what's listed. Second, there's no bulk discount structure whatsoever. You won't get a single dollar off per item when ordering quantities, which other Canadian chess retailers at least attempt to offer. Third, the item prices themselves are really the only advantage here. They do offer bundle packages where you can buy multiple sets together, but a quick comparison on AliExpress shows nearly identical products for about 40% less. It's hard to justify shopping here when you find that disparity.

Ordering from this company was frustrating due to their lack of communication. They promised 2-day express shipping, but my chess pieces took 3 weeks to arrive. However, once they finally showed up, I was really happy with what I got. The pieces themselves are fantastic, weighted beautifully, and came in a gorgeous purple corduroy carrying bag. The pricing is genuinely competitive compared to other chess retailers out there. My advice: the pieces are worth buying from them if you want to save money, just skip paying extra for expedited shipping since it clearly doesn't work as advertised.
