This was my first order from Roots and it came all the way from Europe. Delivery was quick and efficient, and the sweater I got in size XXL fits nicely. Instead of hugging properly, the sweater flares out and looks more like a dress. I was expecting a much more fitted hem. I'm keeping it because shipping it back from overseas would be a headache, but I might try another piece from them down the line. This company is a mess. If you use a debit card, they charge you immediately. I paid one hundred eighty-four for three items, one was dropped from the order and they promised me my money back plus a fifteen dollar credit. Then my card got charged again for the remaining items. Debit cards apparently work like a hold or something with them. So I'm down over three hundred dollars now. They told me I'd get the one-eighty-four back next week but this whole process is so sketchy. I buy clothes online all the time and have never had this kind of problem before. Won't be ordering from them again.

My wife bought a Roots purse from a discount store a couple years ago. After just a few months of normal use, the handles completely fell apart while everything else still looks brand new. Or if they couldn't fulfill it, refund everything including that nine dollars. I never got a pickup notice, never had the chance to grab my items, and there's absolutely no proof the store even got the package. Losing a customer over nine bucks is pretty poor business sense, especially when the whole mistake was on their end.

I reached out to let them know and they said I couldn't cancel the order but if I wanted to place a new one they'd use a different delivery company. Why wouldn't they just use the alternative carrier from the beginning? This whole situation is ridiculous.

Got my son a jacket for his birthday but it never showed up. When I complained, their response was basically that the shipping company said they delivered it so they couldn't help. That's it. End of story. I get lots of packages and rarely have issues, but somehow the expensive stuff goes missing? Their customer service is absolutely terrible and they don't seem to care about actually helping people.
