Had a terrible experience dealing with a customer service rep named Melany. I called to check on an order that was running really behind schedule and she actually went ahead and cancelled it without asking me first. She didn't even offer to look into the delay, speed things up, or keep the discount I originally got. When a company allows this kind of unprofessional and careless behavior, they're not worth supporting.
Pretty disappointed overall with how this company operates. I went to three different locations wanting to test out their new eye cream that costs a lot. None of them had sample versions available. After I emailed them about it, they basically told me to go try other stores instead. That's not helpful for someone trying to decide if the product is worth buying.

Bought something from Dr. Dennis Gross which is now owned by Shiseido during their July 4th sale. I added items to my cart but every time I tried to complete my purchase, I got an error saying my order couldn't go through and to check my payment details. I attempted this three separate times, double checking everything twice and using a different card on the third try. Same error both times. Yet my bank account shows three pending charges from them. Getting help from their support team was a nightmare. They just said if the website rejected it I need to wait three days and try again. They kept going on about how the charges were only holds which I already understood. My real question is why their payment system isn't communicating properly with the bank and merchant account. Waiting three days when the sale ends in that timeframe is not acceptable. I'm not a superfan of the brand. Someone recommended a product so I was open to trying it but the sale window is closing. They told me to call back and they might be able to help, which makes no sense when they could have done something immediately.
They cancelled my entire order because just one item was out of stock. Meanwhile that same product is still available for purchase on their website right now. Their explanation was that if even one thing isn't available, they have to cancel everything. They said they'd send a discount code but never explained why this policy exists when items are clearly in stock. Frustrating process.
Really poor customer service here. I had an issue with my order and when I called to explain what happened, the rep just disconnected on me without warning. When I tried again, the second person told me they couldn't help and wanted me to text a specific number to get updates from the company instead. Not coming back to shop here after this experience.

Feels like they don't care about customers at all. I placed an order on July 7th expecting delivery within 3 to 5 business days based on what the confirmation said. Three days later I contacted their support to ask where my package was and they told me it would probably ship the following week. Their response said there was a system upgrade causing delays and this info was supposedly on the website since late June. They apologized but offered nothing else except the option to cancel. This is unprofessional.
