What Shoppers Say About Puzzle Warehouse
Puzzle Warehouse has a significantly divided customer base, with roughly equal proportions of one-star and five-star ratings. Shoppers who had positive experiences praise the company's customer service responsiveness and willingness to engage with complaints, though some clarify their praise applies mainly to how the company handled issues rather than the products themselves. However, the majority of reviews describe serious problems: missing or damaged puzzle pieces, unresponsive or unhelpful customer service when issues arise, expensive return shipping costs that the company rarely waives, and delivery problems. Customers report that the company takes a hard line on replacements, often refusing claims without original receipts and demanding that customers pay for return shipping even when seeking exchanges rather than refunds.
The core complaint across multiple reviews centers on quality control and post-purchase support. Shoppers describe receiving puzzles with multiple missing pieces, bent components, and duplicate pieces instead of missing ones, making products unsuitable for display or completion. Those who experienced problems and attempted to resolve them report frustration with inflexible policies and the company's reluctance to cover return shipping costs, even in situations where the company might reasonably be held responsible. Several customers indicate they will not return to Puzzle Warehouse after their negative experiences.

Sorted by: Most recentOne piece went missing and another was badly bent in a puzzle my granddaughter gave me. I sent them everything they asked for except the original receipt, which I didn't have since it was a gift. The puzzle cost over nineteen dollars but they said no way. Their answer was a hard no. Won't be buying from them again.
Bought four 1000 piece puzzles and assembled three of them. Both had missing pieces. One was really bad with three pieces missing but four duplicates instead. This is a bummer since I glue mine together and hang them in my basement. I'm not even bothering with the fourth puzzle. Done ordering from this place.
I left a review about the quality of a jigsaw puzzle I got through Puzzle Warehouse where I said I wouldn't buy from that manufacturer again. My issue was really with the puzzle maker, not Puzzle Warehouse. The response I got from Puzzle Warehouse was really great.
This company is awful. I bought a large puzzle board for 116 dollars and wanted to swap it for a smaller size. Getting it shipped back would cost 130 dollars, and they won't give me a free shipping label even just to exchange it. Stay away from them.
Ordered puzzles that never showed up. The customer service response was awful. This is my second time ordering from them and both times have been disasters. I'm done shopping here.
Fedex misdelivered two puzzles claiming they left them at my garage, except I don't have one. Puzzle Warehouse made this situation way more complicated than needed. When both the first shipment and replacement showed up, they demanded I send them back and pay for shipping myself. They finally gave me a shipping label "as a courtesy," which is definitely not how I'd describe their help.
I've been buying puzzles from Puzzle Warehouse for a couple years, usually ordering three or four 1500 piece puzzles at a time, and my experience has always been excellent. Haven't had a single missing piece yet. I stick with brands that don't shed, and the delivery always comes quickly. I've never needed to contact customer service because I've never had any problems. Their selection is fantastic and they offer regular coupon codes that help me grab new puzzles for relaxing.
I've been ordering puzzles from Puzzle Warehouse for a couple years and their selection is amazing. I mainly do 1500 piece puzzles and they have an incredible variety. The prices are good, and out of about a dozen puzzles I've purchased, I haven't had a single issue. The on site reviews from other customers are really helpful for learning about quality, dust levels, and other details about different brands. Even their free shipping arrives fast.
Four pieces were missing from my puzzle. I filed a report and they asked for a photo. I'm not great with uploading pictures, but I took one on my phone and called to ask where to send it. They told me I couldn't report it that way. Why not? I had no other option except to tell them how disappointed I am with their process.
I just finished a call with Puzzle Warehouse customer service and I'm frustrated. I've spent quite a bit with this company over time. For this order, the shipping carrier told me upfront about customs and duties, which I paid online in advance. When I picked up the package at the postal facility, they said the company had added a 120 dollar cash-on-delivery charge. I had already covered the exchange rate on the US funds since I'm in Canada, plus I'd paid the customs and duties already. I called to ask what the cash-on-delivery was for. The post office confirmed the carrier got it from the company, not from customs. The rep I talked to kept saying there was a disclaimer on the checkout page about customs and duties. I told him I already paid those. He then blamed the exchange rate, but I'd already paid that through my card. When I mentioned that I'd only emailed before and got no response, he just kept repeating that I had supposedly called and been told all this.
