How to Apply a Gap Promo Code

  1. First, shop through the Gap store website for clothing items you want that are included in your Gap promo code.

  2. Once you find an item you want, choose the size and color and click on the "Add to Bag" button towards the bottom of the screen to add it to your order.

  3. When you are done filling our order, click on the shopping bag icon in the upper-right corner of the screen to head to checkout.

  4. At checkout, look on the right side of the screen for a field labeled "Promos."

  5. Enter your promo code in this field and click "Apply" to have the savings added to your total price.

Gap Return Policy

Items ordered from Gap.com are eligible for return within 45 days of the order date. When you use Gap's prepaid return label, shipping for both returns and exchanges is free. Free returns can also be made by taking the item to your local Gap store.

Gap Price Adjustment Policy

When you purchase a regularly priced item, you can request a price adjustment if Gap discounts it within 14 days of the purchase. Items on "Final sale" and those purchased with a coupon code that discounted the purchase price are not eligible for adjustment.

Loyal customer (Enthusiast level) disappointed by awful chat customer service

Loyal customer here (Enthusiast level), rewards program member and GAP credit card holder. I make high-value purchases at Gap, Gap Factory and Old Navy. I had to reach out to Customer Service via chat. They have either a Virtual Assistant or agents based in India (outsourced Customer Service). They have no email address where they can be contacted. The agents based in India are totally inefficient and act more like bots, copying and pasting canned responses and trying to get rid of you as soon as possible. They say they can't escalate to managers. GAP does not care for their "valued" customers. I will definitely consider taking my business elsewhere, where I feel really valued.

False Advertising - "40% Off" is Actually Only 20% Off

Beware of Gap's deceptive pricing tactics during their current "Holiday Kickoff Event."I've been watching the Extra Heavyweight French Terry Zip Hoodie for weeks. Last week it was just above $50, which would have been a genuine deal. I hesitated, and now I'm paying the price for it.The Math Doesn't Add Up:Gap is currently advertising this hoodie as "40% off" with a strikethrough price of $108, bringing it down to $86. Here's the problem: 40% off $108 should be $64.80, not $86. What they're actually offering is only a 20% discount while advertising it as 40% off. This is textbook false reference pricing.When I contacted customer service about this, they deflected with vague promotional terms and refused to acknowledge the math is simply wrong. I checked other items on their site and found the same pattern - products marked "40% off" are only discounted 20%, while items marked 20%, 50%, and 60% off calculate correctly.Gap Has a History of This!!!:Gap and Banana Republic faced class action lawsuits in 2024 for false reference pricing at their factory outlets. This appears to be a systematic issue with how they mislead consumers about discounts.Suspicious Timing:I get that companies love running early black friday deals early nowadays. my nieces are all about fashion and all the trendy clothes, but I am according to them lagging behind in fashion ...so they always bring up this clothing brand. gap....funny thing when I hear this "gap" for me it is like gap year lol...😅 weird association but whatever lol....just a week ago they dragged me into the local store so had a nice tour there..i am not a pro in choosing the best clothes, but i can see that quality of the brand is good, cant deny that, however I beleive that some of their clothes arent that good in design, so whatever...nieces know better perhap[s

The overwhelming use of poly blend…

The overwhelming use of poly blend material is just not good enough. Cotton and wool natural fibres are best, linen wrinkles are ok. What happened to the great cotton track pants wth metal grommets wth nice thick ties? Why can I never find the stuff the models display? Why do the models look so very unhappy? If this is the social statement, then lower your prices like Walmart and TEMU and drop the pretension.

Gap has been a go to since i was a child. I am now 40 years old and am happy say i still shop at the Gap. I feel as tho they have gotten better in the last few years with design, listening to the customers wants, and keeping their merchendise budget friendly.

Very disappointed

Was waiting for an order to be delivered and then Canada Post went on strike. A month after I placed my order, I received a notice that the order, which had been labelled as ‘undeliverable’ (understandably so), had been returned and a refund in process. However, I really wanted the items so I tried to order again but they are SOLD OUT. I complained to customer service about this ridiculous process and they just defended the Gap.I’m sorry, but I would have liked the option to have my order delivered to me, as strike was over day I received email about refund. The company is too big, too rich and they JUST DON’T CARE.👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

I got a few baby gap outfits for my son…

I got a few baby gap outfits for my son and they look really adorable. the material is soft and gentle on his skin, perfect for daily wear. however, I was a bit disappointed that the fabric sharnks slightly after washing. the prices are also on the higher side compared to other brands. Still the design are stylish and comfy enough for casual days.

Purchase did not arrive, ignored by customer service chat

In September I made a sizeable purchase at Old Navy/Gap. Purchase #: 1NHHWY0. One item was shipped separately, Sublime T shirt size S. It has never arrived!!! I have tried contacting UPS multiple times and have filed a claim, however I have not heard back from either UPS or Gap. The tracking shows it was delivered to Dartmouth, but I live in halifax, the next town over. I still have not received this item, and it was supposedly delivered back on September 24. I have tried multiple times other get in touch with Gap customer service on their own website and the agents do not even respond to my inquiry, they read it (almost word for word what I've written above) and then ignore and leave the chat. I am going to have to file a chargeback on my visa and I am very upset that gap will not help me with this order, I would never purchase from them again.

What went wrong this time? - same as every time!!

What went wrong this time? Well the same that happens every time - the order arrived with brown jeans when green were ordered - surprise surprise!!GAP jeans are great but this online order service is rubbish. I have never received the correct item first time. This must be the 8th time I have had an incorrect delivery and yet each time I ring up I get a surprised response from a really nice person. What is it with this system? Are you using robots who are both dyslexic and colour blind? I would love to be able to buy GAP jeans in store but it's no longer possible. How can Next operate cost effectively if EVRI have to keep collecting incorrect orders to return? Abysmal service, but good jeans when you receive what you ask for - which is once in a blue moon.

I have never received my order of €80…

I have never received my order of €80 in total (ordered from www gap com se). After exchanging odd email messages with a person without the name nor contact details nothing happened. If I go on a tracking number that this person provided, everything is in Chinese and it says that order has been delivered, which is not.

Received wrong item and hassle to get refunded

Multiple times they've sent the wrong order. In order to get my money back for an item I don't even want, I have to take it to Returns. This is their mistake; the customer should not have to make a separate trip to return an item that they didn't want or order in the first place. they need to send a free pick up label. I then had to replace the same order again and at this point, things sometimes go out of stock, price is different etc. This needs to be corrected.

If I could give zero stars, I would!

If I could give zero stars, I would! My package was delayed. Each day, the tracking info said out for delivery, but it never got delivered. I had to reach out 3 times to customer service to see if they could help i.e. give me an ETA or resend the item. The customer service reps were inept, didn't resolve my issue, and didn't appear to care that I was frustrated. I had to put through a claim to get a refund for the undelivered item. They didn't explain this process to me properly either resulting in more frustration. The best part is, when I put through the claim, I got a warning message telling me that in future my claims may not be accepted even though it was clear that the item had not been delivered. They couldn't even explain what this meant when I questioned it. Good luck if you order from them! You'll be lucky to emerge from the experience with your sanity intact!

Cancelled order. Was asked for a conference call with my bank to verify me

Was an active customer for a couple of years. They cancelled my order yesterday. Calling today, they need to organize a conference call with my bank to verify me! And waiting time by the bank is up to 1h, and that's above already being on the phone for 40min. Humiliating and extremely time-consuming. That despite 15 previous orders sent to the same address and paid with the same card. Todeloo Athleta, Gap, Old Navy, and Banana Republic. Will better save my money. There are enough other stores.

I chose the fastest delivery (next day 2 business days delivery), and I spent extra 25 USD for that service.And yet gap still use the “UPS ground saver “ the cheapest delivery option. Now my package is not going to be delivered on time… what’s that extra 25 dollars for?Not a trustworthy company:(
