Second time ordering online based on photos, and both times the items arrive way too big. Show actual photos with real sizing or a person wearing the items so customers can see how they actually look. This is a waste of time.

Terrible experience here. I ordered a grey jumper and they somehow sent me a brown one. I kept sending it back and they kept sending it wrong, this happened five times. Eventually I just gave up and asked them to collect it for good. Awful.

This review doesn't appear to be about Gap and seems to have been submitted in error. It describes a restaurant experience that's unrelated to a clothing retailer.

I'm a frequent shopper at Gap for pants and formal shoes, and the physical stores never disappoint with great checkout experiences and helpful staff. The problem is their website has been a nightmare for me. I created an account, set up a password, and can't seem to log in no matter what I do. Even after resetting it multiple times, I keep getting told my password is wrong. I've tried different browsers with no luck. It's strange because other retailers like Burtons and H&M don't have this issue. They really need to figure out what's going on with their login system.

This is ridiculous. I've ordered the same pair of chinos eleven separate times and asked for 34x34 every single time. Eleven times they've shipped me 34x32 instead. It's the same problem with their jeans too. Gap used to be great, but their website ordering is a disaster now. I'm done with them and won't be back.

No complaints picking up my orders from Next. I've bought eight of the Gap Modern Crew Neck T-Shirts in both short and long sleeves, running about £20 and £25 respectively. The fabric has great weight and stretch, they fit nicely, and the length stays well below the waist so they don't ride up or look stubby. They hold up great through washing and don't shrink. But I also grabbed two cotton long-sleeved basics at £18 each and they were pretty disappointing. The shape didn't hold, the material felt thin and flimsy, sleeves were baggy at the wrists, and they ran short. I didn't bother returning them and just donated them. I'm sticking with their stretchy fabric options from now on.

I've ordered from them many times online but keep running into issues. They always say next day delivery but I don't think I've ever actually gotten that. Sometimes they refund the delivery charge, sometimes they don't. The worst part is this one specific dress I really wanted. I bought it the first time and it never arrived, no communication about it, just didn't show. I had to chase them for a refund and ordered it again. This time they sent something completely different in the wrong size. Getting a refund took forever and the amount they refunded was less than it should have been. I had to go return the wrong item myself and still never got the dress I wanted. They offered a voucher instead as an apology. I used it to order something else and guess what, that didn't arrive either within the promised timeframe and they refused to refund shipping. All I wanted was one dress. After multiple orders, wasting so much time, and spending so much effort, I still don't have it. It's pretty ridiculous.

Things seem really different at Gap now. I bought a lot of their basics before, particularly summer stuff, but everything feels changed. The website now looks almost identical to Next's site. I don't know if it's just me, but the actual clothing appears very similar too, pretty generic across the board. Product descriptions are minimal and photos are pretty poor, sometimes just one shot or an odd angle. I ended up returning most of my order because items weren't as described, they were much shorter and almost cropped style when that wasn't mentioned. On the bright side, shipping was fast and returns went smoothly, though they did deduct postage. I doubt I'll order from them again, which is unfortunate. I heard Next might be helping with their website operations now, and I hope it improves.

Don't shop here if you want quick refunds. Gap put a hold on my delivery, which means I never actually received the item in the first place. They then told me I had to wait for the courier to return it to their warehouse, then another five working days for processing. So I had my money taken when I ordered, waited for delivery that never showed up, had to deal with the hold, and then wait ten working days for a refund. This is a US company that's usually known for great customer service, but this situation was really disappointing. They're essentially holding onto your money. Skip them.

I'm honestly stunned. Gap used to be my favorite place to shop and I've spent so much money there over the years. My recent order was a complete nightmare. Items didn't arrive with zero explanation, so I reordered and only some things showed up. They told me sale items can take up to 42 days to ship, which seems insane. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. Gap used to offer great value on quality basics but that's gone now. The sizing is all over the place, one small vest was so tight I couldn't even pull it on, but the exact same vest in another color was massive. Medium shirts fit like something from a circus. The quality is shocking, paying near £40 for a top that feels cheaper than fast fashion options from the high street. After three washes they look like they're falling apart. The fit is completely off on everything. And the smell is unbelievable, anything claiming to be cotton smelled awful even though everything was individually wrapped. I'm disappointed and hoping for a refund. Just skip this store.

I used to order online all the time and loved the old site. The new version though is just a mess of a design. Every time I visit it, I quit after a minute because I can't stand navigating it. It's such a shame because I would have rated them five stars before.

Couldn't ask for better service. Ordered on the 19th and got my package the next day with standard delivery. Everything was nicely packaged and presented. So many companies these days just toss things in a box, so it's nice to see a retailer that actually cares about how items arrive.
