Shopping in person might be fine, but ordering online is a huge mistake. Unless your stuff arrives undamaged by some miracle and you're okay waiting months for delivery, steer clear. Giving Katom three stars because at least most of the equipment did eventually arrive, though it took way longer than expected. But I'm really disappointed about the Hoshizaki ice maker that showed up wrapped in protective industrial metal framing. Despite all that protective packaging, the machine inside was severely damaged and completely broken. The damage wasn't visible from outside the box, so I didn't discover it until I was ready to install it, which was too late for the company to care. I didn't see all the negative reviews before I spent 65K on this order, so I didn't think there would be issues. Now I know better. Be cautious. The damage looks like it happened at the manufacturing level, not during shipping.
