360 Total Security Reviews
What Shoppers Say About 360 Total Security
360 Total Security receives overwhelmingly negative feedback from shoppers, with two-thirds of reviews rating it one star. Recurring complaints center on poor malware detection capabilities, aggressive bundling of unwanted applications during installation, and extremely difficult uninstallation processes. Reviewers report the software bundles additional monitoring tools and driver installation software without clear consent, and describe removal as a frustrating experience that leaves cached files stuck on systems. A small portion of reviewers (25 percent) gave five-star ratings, though specific positive details are not reflected in the recent review excerpts.
The software's resource consumption also draws criticism, with users reporting excessive RAM usage that impacts system performance. Multiple reviewers express frustration that the uninstallation option appears deliberately hidden, and some describe the overall experience as so negative they question the competence of the development team. The contrast between the small group of satisfied users and the large majority of dissatisfied ones suggests highly inconsistent performance or user experience.

Sorted by: Most recentThe malware detection isn't very good and the setup process forces a bunch of extra applications onto your computer. When you try to uninstall it, they make the uninstall option ridiculously hard to find, almost like they're hiding it on purpose.
Getting this thing off my computer was a nightmare, and I couldn't remove cached files from my hard drive. The system kept saying the files were in use by another program, which wasn't even true.
The experience wasn't actually terrible overall, but it was enough to make me want to report everyone on the development team.
Why would anyone use Driver Master? When you install drivers with it, you often end up with extra monitoring software bundled in the installation folder. That's ridiculous. Most people use it specifically to avoid spending hours hunting down drivers on different company websites, so why would they sign up for this nonsense?
This antivirus is terrible. My RAM usage jumped to 61% which is crazy. At least uninstalling it was painless and my computer felt relieved afterward. I absolutely despise 360 Total Security. Honestly, if there were regulations against poorly made antivirus software, this company would face serious consequences. I understand programming well enough to know this is garbage. Plus, you can remove about 99% of the components without touching the main program files.
This bloated junk software snuck itself onto my computer bundled with another application without asking permission. To make matters worse, the uninstall process is a complete mess and barely functions properly.
Watch out, these folks are email spammers using fake addresses or fraudulent company email accounts. I can't get them to quit, so I've had to set up filters to dump their garbage emails straight to trash. I have some choice words for them but won't waste my breath. They're complete losers.
You practically need to wipe your entire system just to get rid of this. It sneaks in Opera GX and their own browser along with the main program. This is more like 360 Total Junkware Installer. And the customer support is somehow even worse than other terrible antivirus companies out there.
THIS THING IS BASICALLY A VIRUS ITSELF! I kept trying to remove it from my old computer and it would come back like 30 times no matter what I did. Then I bought a brand new computer and somehow it was already there. Stay far away from this!!!
