Stay away from alloy.com! I dropped over two hundred dollars on three pairs of pants and paid for overnight delivery even though I qualified for free shipping because I needed them fast for a new job. The shipping status got stuck on USPS awaiting item and wouldn't budge. Took me a whole week just to reach their shipping partner Ward to find out my package was lost. Against my better judgment, I let them send me replacements with overnight shipping again, thinking lightning wouldn't strike twice. Wrong. The same exact thing happened with the second order. Stuck in transit for over two weeks, saying USPS was awaiting the item. That's when I realized they never actually shipped anything out - they just made a label and stopped there. Never got my items, never got decent customer service, never got an apology.

Do not buy from this company. They marked my order as delivered when it never showed up. I contacted them about it and got told they couldn't do anything because I didn't purchase their shipping protection. Complete con artists!

Ever since ownership changed hands, the quality and variety have really gone downhill. Used to be so many different styles of jeans and sweatpants available that I'd happily buy something monthly. My last purchase of two pairs was such a hassle - had to send them back twice because the size or inseam was wrong both times. Customer service couldn't care less so I just asked for my money back. Thankfully there are other good options out there for tall women now.

I've been shopping here since 1996 when they first opened. At 6 foot 1, Alloy was genuinely a lifesaver back then for us tall ladies. Something changed though and not for the better. Shipping problems, sizing problems, material quality issues. There are other places I can get tall clothing now so I'm done shopping here and closing my account.

Incredibly frustrated with this order! Placed it during their year-end sale on December 29th and here we are in February 8th with nothing to show for it. Got through to someone 2 weeks back who mentioned they were switching warehouse locations and that orders got put on hold, but mine should've shipped way before that happened. Still no explanation on their end. As someone who's quite tall, I really needed those dress pants and shirt for my job. Would've cancelled everything by now if the situation weren't so frustrating. Zero follow-up communication from Alloy, no attempt to make it right with a refund or credit, nothing. I manage people in my own retail position and would never treat customers this way. Completely unacceptable service.

Got my entire order refunded plus two thirds of another one because items were apparently out of stock and couldn't be delivered. The kicker is they mishandled my package and sent it somewhere else. That's 9 pairs of pants total that got refunded without any real explanation. Customer service was absolutely awful throughout this whole mess. Didn't even get a notification beforehand, just saw the refund appear.

Placed an order on May 27th and they didn't ship it out for 10 days. At this point I don't even want the items anymore because it'll take nearly a month total to get them, if we're looking at another 10 to 14 business days from shipment. Could've ordered from overseas and gotten it faster at this rate. There's absolutely no good reason a US company should be this slow getting out a pair of pants. Haven't even received them yet but I'm already sure I'll never order from this place again. The whole situation just feels wrong.

This company doesn't deserve even one star. Total scam operation run by liars. The actual clothing quality is terrible and nothing fits right. Want to return something? Use their label and watch your package vanish into thin air, or pay for shipping yourself. I've spent the last month trying to get refunded and their story keeps changing - first they had my package, now suddenly they don't have it. This business needs to shut down. Hard working people shouldn't lose their money to dishonest companies like this. I usually read reviews before buying online and I should've done that this time. Stick with bigger retailers you can actually trust, not some bogus internet operation. Lesson learned the hard way.

Not sure why all these other reviews are so negative because my experience has been fantastic. Standing at 6'1" in a size 10, I get basically all my pants from this store. Both the quality and fit have been consistently excellent for me. The one thing I can't speak to is their return process since I've never had to use it. Delivery to my place in Ohio typically arrives within 4 to 5 business days, which is great.

Been trying to use a gift card I received for over a year and a half now. Every time I call, they say the same thing - gift card system is having technical issues. The website checkout keeps giving me the identical error message. I've attempted this so many different times. Getting my money back or placing an order should not be this difficult! The company gave me excellent service previously, but this is unacceptable. It's my money sitting there and I should absolutely be able to spend it whenever I want.
