Lapfox Bandcamp Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Lapfox Bandcamp
Shoppers are deeply divided on Lapfox Bandcamp, with ratings clustering at the extremes. Supporters praise the platform's high-quality audio file formats (FLAC, WAV, ALAC) as superior to compressed alternatives, and appreciate the availability of free or pay-what-you-wish content. Positive reviewers describe it as their preferred music destination.
Negative reviews center on serious operational issues: unresponsive customer support, undelivered physical orders with no follow-up, account access problems, unexplained account balance changes, and concerns about inappropriate content visibility. Multiple reviewers report being ignored when attempting to resolve problems, which appears to be the most consistent complaint. Some issues involve third-party label fulfillment, but platform support failures are cited across several reviews.

Sorted by: Most recentI've had similar problems as others when ordering actual physical products from artists selling through this site. About six months back I bought a CD from an artist, and it never arrived. Their listing said items would ship within five business days, which clearly didn't happen. After waiting ten days with no package and no shipping notification, I contacted the artist directly asking when I could expect it. They never answered, so I messaged them twice more with no luck. Next I reached out to their support team, explained what was happening, and they promised to check with the artist. That's the last I heard from either side. Without knowing what else to do, I filed a dispute through PayPal, which the artist ignored completely, so PayPal refunded my money. Then three months went by and suddenly I got an email saying my CD had shipped. That turned out to be complete BS because the item never showed up.
As someone who loves music, I've gotta say this site is pretty bad. The interface isn't intuitive and it feels like they're constantly pushing you toward the music they're promoting rather than what you actually want to find.
Had a terrible experience with customer support on this platform. I ordered a CD from a label and pretty quickly realized I wasn't going to get it. I tried reaching out to the seller and got nothing back, so I notified the site and ended up having to open a PayPal dispute to get my money back. The site did eventually disable that payment option but never apologized or offered any real support for the fact that I'd been scammed. I did get refunded through PayPal eventually, but it took more than two months even after doing everything right. Something else worth mentioning: there are tons of fake artist and label accounts on this site that aren't the real ones, so you've got to be really careful. Also, anyone can basically upload other people's work and resell it, which seems like a pretty serious copyright violation if not outright illegal.
Honestly, my experience here has been terrible. I've sent tons of emails and even tweeted at them with zero response. There's no phone number to call and they just seem to ignore you completely. I ordered something a month ago from a band I thought was trustworthy, and here we are still with nothing and no refund in sight. I asked the band directly and they told me it was on the way and should arrive soon. That was over a week ago with still nothing. I won't be ordering through this platform again.
This is such a good website for music discovery. You've got Korean, Japanese, American, and everything in between. I keep coming back because there's always something new and interesting to discover. Plus I really like being able to support the artists directly whose music I'm listening to. Thanks for making that possible.
Really great website for exploring music across so many different genres and countries. Whether you're into Korean artists, Japanese performers, or American acts, you can find something here. What I appreciate most is that buying directly supports the musicians creating the songs I enjoy listening to. Really grateful for that.
Pretty solid site for both people wanting to buy music and artists selling it. I've been around for more than five years and everything is straightforward to use. One thing that would be nice is if they offered more payment methods besides PayPal, since a lot of people really prefer other options.
Purchased a few albums using their platform and found it to be the most direct way to support independent musicians.
Grabbed a couple of albums from their site and was really happy with the purchase. This is honestly the best way to directly help out independent musicians.
Really enjoy using this site. I've bought CDs and t-shirts for myself and also grabbed some things as gifts for friends. Everything arrives as promised, and even when there was one delivery hiccup, Bandcamp and the artist worked it out quickly with PayPal handling the details smoothly. This is a fantastic platform for discovering and supporting lesser-known musicians worldwide.
