What Shoppers Say About beautyrest.com
Beautyrest.com receives overwhelmingly negative feedback from shoppers, with 24 reviews averaging 1.3 out of 5. The most consistent complaints involve product quality issues, particularly mattresses that sag within weeks of purchase, and malfunctioning smart features (apps that do not work as advertised). Shoppers also report significant frustration with warranty registration processes, unresponsive customer service, and denied warranty claims despite having purchased extended coverage. Several reviewers describe their experience as feeling like a scam, especially when warranty terms appear to change after purchase or claims are rejected unexpectedly.
Very few positive reviews exist on this store. One satisfied customer reported having a good experience after purchasing a Beautyrest mattress through a local retailer and receiving helpful in-store support for a bed height adjustment issue. However, this isolated positive feedback is vastly outweighed by accounts of defective products, poor durability, and customer service failures that left shoppers out significant amounts of money.

Sorted by: Most recentI got a Beautyrest Black pillow top queen about six years ago. Lately it's been sinking on one side and I'd really like some help from the company. A replacement runs about $3300, which is steep. Even a coupon or some kind of credit toward a new one would be appreciated.
I went to the furniture store asking for the best mattress they had and walked out with a top-of-the-line Beautyrest Black. Fourteen months later both mattress units failed. I'm 168 pounds and my wife is 135, so we're not heavy people. Both have the same problems including sagging in the middle and internal material failure that appears to be from manufacturing defects. They're impossible to sleep on now. The furniture store won't take responsibility and when I contacted Beautyrest directly, they wouldn't either. My advice is to avoid Beautyrest and Simmons products entirely because they don't stand behind their mattresses when they fail.
After doing extensive research and testing, we invested in a king size Black L mattress in luxury firm, confident we'd made the right choice. For the first few months it was fantastic, but around the 100-day mark we started getting sharp morning back pain. By four months in, our backs hurt as much as they had on our old 15-year-old mattress. A noticeable depression developed in the center while other areas felt completely different. We're careful, informed shoppers who aren't wealthy, and this has been our worst purchase ever. Between the mattress, frame, and all those extra warranties that turned out to be useless, we spent over $5000. It's been truly devastating.
This is my second Beautyrest purchase and while the comfort is great, the durability just isn't there. My new one developed an issue within the first year, but when I contacted Beautyrest (now Simmons) about honoring the warranty, they refused. I can't recommend this company based on my experience.
