Breezeline Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Breezeline
Breezeline is rated 1.2 out of 5 by 21 shoppers, with the vast majority reporting serious issues. Customers consistently report frequent service outages, WiFi disconnections occurring multiple times daily, significant speed degradation (advertised speeds not being delivered), and buffering problems with streaming services. Multiple reviewers also describe aggressive retention tactics during cancellation calls and unexpected equipment fees after service termination.
The few positive experiences are vastly outnumbered by complaints about customer service being dismissive and unwilling to resolve problems. Shoppers report that promotional pricing expires and bills spike dramatically (sometimes exceeding $200-$350 monthly), that support staff lack technical knowledge and attempt to upsell additional services rather than fix issues, and that the service quality declined noticeably after Breezeline acquired competitors in certain areas.

Sorted by: Most recentThe way their customer service team treats people is totally disrespectful. They constantly make mistakes and refuse to say sorry or help make things right. They'll pull you in with what they call a promotion at a reasonable price, then after that period ends they hike up your basic WiFi plan to over $100. They've got excuses for everything when it comes to those charges. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Their agents give you wrong info, they tell you whatever benefits them, and honestly a lot of them don't speak English well enough to actually help. The last rep I talked to kept talking over me while I explained my billing problems, wasn't helpful at all, and got me so frustrated I hung up. She acted like I wasn't listening when she was the one ignoring me the whole time. She got sassy and claimed I only listen to myself when she wasn't even paying attention to what I was saying about not getting bill notifications. This company and their staff are incredibly rude and defensive.
Switched from Spectrum to WOW back in 2020 and had an amazing experience. Once Breezeline took over, everything went downhill with way more outages than I ever saw before. I was paying for 100mbs download speeds but started running into issues with my TV buffering and shows refusing to load. When I ran speed tests, I was only getting about 14mbs. I tried reaching out to customer support three times but got disconnected twice during chats and spent nearly an hour on hold during a phone call, so I decided to switch to ATT Fiber instead. When I disconnected and tried logging into my account to cancel, I got blocked with a security error. Called back Saturday morning and after jumping through several hoops, a computer told me to call back Monday through Friday during business hours, but never said what those hours actually were. Their system apparently doesn't work weekends. If you're considering Breezeline, I'd seriously reconsider.
I wish I could rate them lower. Internet cuts out several times every single day, and I'm resetting the modem multiple times per week. Streaming regularly fails at least once a month and takes hours to fix. The chat agents don't seem to know what they're doing and keep trying to push extra cell services. I'm paying $215 a month for TV and 500mb service that barely works and constantly goes out when people get home from work. Everything about this infrastructure is subpar from the speeds to the support to the pricing.
Service got hooked up at 4:30 this afternoon and by 7pm I'm already frustrated. WiFi keeps disconnecting or saying it's connected with no actual internet on my gadgets. I'm thankful I didn't cancel my previous internet since activating Breezeline's equipment broke my ability to use the other connection. Hoping a tech visit tomorrow will fix it, but since it's Sunday that's probably not happening.
Got the service installed this afternoon at 4:30, and by 7pm I'm already regretting it. My WiFi keeps dropping constantly or shows connected but no internet on all my devices. At least I kept my old ISP active just in case, since turning on Breezeline's gear somehow messed up the other connection. Really hoping a technician can come out and fix this tomorrow, though it's Sunday so that probably won't happen.
I ended my service with them. When I called to cancel, they spent an entire hour trying to convince me to stay, asking tons of questions about my reasons and other personal stuff. Then I got hit with a $350 charge for the equipment they provided. I've already mailed it back to them, so I guess they're trying to squeeze more money out of me even though I returned their stuff. The service itself was overpriced and the signal kept cutting out anyway.
Their customer service is really bad when it comes to looking into past charges, and even worse at actually trying to fix anything.
Absolutely terrible when it comes to reviewing old charges and trying to fix the problem.
This company needs to shut down. I used WOW for thirteen years without major complaints, but when Breezeline took the reins after Atlantic's purchase, things went downhill fast. The internet connection is awful and disconnects all the time. Since I run my business from home, losing connection constantly is destroying my ability to work, and it's happening repeatedly even as I write this. I'm seriously considering joining or starting a class action lawsuit. For now, I'm getting a Starlink Mini satellite system instead, available at places like Walmart or directly from the manufacturer. The equipment is $499 upfront, and monthly plans range from $50 for 50GB roaming to $80 for 165GB residential service. I can put it on my vehicle in the middle of nowhere and actually get internet. I can't let my business fail because this incompetent company doesn't know how to operate. File complaints with your state regulatory agencies and stay tuned for my legal action. This company has been a complete waste.
This company shouldn't still be operating. I had WOW for 13 years and while they weren't perfect, things were reasonable. Once Breezeline took over after Atlantic's acquisition, everything fell apart. The connection is unreliable and constantly cuts in and out. As someone who works from home, I literally cannot run my business with internet that disconnects constantly, and it's happening right now as I'm typing this. I'm looking into filing a class action lawsuit. In the meantime, I'm switching to Starlink Mini, which costs $499 upfront and runs about $50 to $80 monthly depending on what data plan you choose. I can set it on top of my car in the middle of nowhere and get reliable service. I can't afford to lose my business because this company is incompetent. Look into filing complaints with your state utilities commission and watch for my legal action. This company has given me nothing but headaches.
