These folks will absolutely lie to you and won't hesitate to upsell while they have your vehicle torn apart and you're stuck depending on them. They botched an expensive stereo installation that left my car unable to operate. Now they're refusing to fix it, claiming they're under new ownership and won't honor the original warranty even though they use the same company name, same storefront, and same building. Total scam artists.
Car Toys pulled a classic bait and switch on me. They quoted one price after inspecting the job, but when I dropped the car off, they said it would cost double. Even though I had gone over everything with them beforehand, they claimed the work was more involved than expected. The employee lied and the store manager didn't do anything about it. I had used them before at another location before they closed down. Clearly the company's honesty has gone downhill since their financial troubles. Don't trust them or you'll get ripped off.
Do not shop here under any circumstances. I gave them a $600 deposit on a $1,600 sound system back in August. They said they needed to order a part and the manager would call when it arrived. Never got that call, so I went to the store and found out they'd already gone out of business in August. They knew that when they took my money. The new owners took over and are just as bad as the original ones. They won't honor anything from before.
Absolutely no customer service at this company. Our system broke and they cashed the extended warranty check, then refused to install a replacement unit. Completely dishonorable behavior. Stay away from them. The new owners won't return calls. Their business practices are inexcusable.
Found this site after searching online and got a fantastic deal on an air intake I needed to complete my truck setup. Had already bought other components direct but wanted to finish things off with this piece. The only issue was the website didn't show it had shipped. It's been four months without a working stereo because they said it needed to be sent out for repair instead of being swapped out under the $400 four year no questions asked warranty I paid for. I'm never spending another dime there and I'm going to tell everyone I know to take their business somewhere else. Every time I call looking for answers, I get attitude from employees who tell me to call back later because apparently managers are never there. That's pretty convenient. I paid for the warranty so they need to honor it. I even offered to put more money toward a better unit and they still won't help. I paid $5300 for the original installation of this $980 system and I'm beyond frustrated.
Had a great visit at the Tigard store. The manager and assistant manager were both super nice, professional, and went out of their way to help. They tried to fix an audio issue on my vehicle but couldn't get it working. Even though they didn't solve the problem, the whole experience was excellent. Really appreciate the effort they put in.
Got a dash camera with a rear view camera last October. The back camera didn't work from day one, and nobody even tested the system when they installed it. Took it back to the local store and the technician couldn't figure out the problem. I was told they'd order a replacement and it would be ready in a day or two. Called three days later and was informed it hadn't arrived yet and I shouldn't call back. Waited over a week with no word. Called customer service and was promised a call within 24 hours but never got one. When I finally went back in and asked for a removal and refund, suddenly the camera was in stock and had been for five days. Got the cameras swapped but before leaving the parking lot I checked the app and the rear one still wasn't working. Asked the tech to check again and he just said the light turned on. The system still wasn't fixed.

Recently visited the Lynnwood store and was impressed when the manager quickly had one of the technicians help me out. As someone who takes my vehicle security seriously, I really valued that quick response and attention to detail.
