I think the ratings here are unreasonably negative because people mostly post when they're upset. My order was placed on the 10th and I got a message that evening confirming arrival on the 12th through their carrier. The package showed up right on time in the window they promised, my dress is beautiful, and it fits perfectly. I had panicked and ordered a backup from somewhere else because I was nervous after reading some reviews, but honestly the whole process with DVF was smooth and quick. The staff was responsive too. I'd recommend ordering directly from them.
I received completely the wrong item when my order arrived. When I called to report the mistake, the representative on the phone demanded that I send photos before they would even consider issuing a return label. Once I did that, she then refused to arrange pickup from my home. So basically they took my money, shipped me the wrong product, wanted proof before doing anything, and wouldn't help with logistics. Then they had the nerve to tell me I'd be permanently banned from ordering if I didn't cover the return shipping myself. At that point I had already decided I'd never buy from them again anyway.
