The person at the welcome desk barely looked at us and seemed completely clueless. When we tried calling the number they gave us for ground transportation, the phones didn't even work. After finally getting through, someone told us the driver was waiting in the departure terminal even though we had just landed. The driver on the return trip deserves credit for really pushing to get us to the airport on time, otherwise this would be a one star review. The company's organization and planning is seriously broken. They really need to get their act together.
This service was a complete letdown. The driver showed up late for both my trips, and on the way back the van was packed so tight I couldn't even sit down or fit my bags until I had to rearrange everything myself to make space. The people handling customer service were unhelpful, and the drivers didn't seem trained at all. You might save a few bucks but it's not worth it. Better off taking Uber or hiring a private car, even if it costs more.
These guys are straight up scammers and way overpriced. I booked two shared shuttle rides and paid for both. The first one got canceled and I eventually got my money back, but only after I happened to check the day before for my second reservation. That one was canceled too. They claim they called to say they don't service my area, but there was just a missed call with no voicemail. So I had to go book an Uber instead and ended up paying twice. The company never refunded me for that second cancellation even though I've left tons of messages trying to follow up. I have reservation confirmations for two separate dates and two different airports. They even lied about what they'd done and said they refunded both trips when they clearly only refunded one. The first refund showed up in my account a couple days after they approved it, but nothing for the second one. When I left a review about this, they had it removed because of their false claim about refunding me for both. They're scammers, plain and simple. Don't book with them.
Total ripoff. First driver bailed on us. The second one was going to be over an hour behind schedule so they canceled that too. Trying to get them to refund you is pointless because they just put you on hold forever, banking on the fact that you'll eventually get tired of waiting and give up.
Disappointing experience across the board. We waited an hour and a half for the shuttle to arrive and when the driver finally got there, he was constantly messing around on his phone while driving. When I asked him which stop was next, he was short with me and said he had no idea. No matter how cheap they advertise their fares, I can't recommend them to anyone.
My wife landed at JFK yesterday after booking this shuttle weeks in advance and nobody was there to pick her up. She called and they promised the driver was on the way and would be there in about 20 minutes. An hour later, still nothing. She kept trying to reach them by phone and text but nobody would answer or respond. It's infuriating and embarrassing. Like all the other terrible reviews on here, just don't use these guys.
Stay away from this company! A total waste of money. Multiple people waiting at JFK told us they'd been hanging around for two or three hours waiting for pickup to get into the city. Seriously, just grab an Uber instead. The driver we ended up getting seemed completely lost the whole ride. We ended up canceling our return trip and using a different service. Airport staff told us this is a regular problem with them, said they operate with basically one old van, and mentioned the Port Authority should shut them down.
Really pleasant driver. He actually arrived a few minutes early and texted me to let me know. Smooth ride to the airport with zero complications.
Outstanding service from beginning to end. The greeting area at JFK was welcoming and efficient, the shuttle vehicle was incredibly clean, and the driver was genuinely pleasant and well-mannered throughout the ride. I felt right at home and it set a wonderful tone for my visit. Would definitely use this service again and suggest it to others visiting New York.
