What Shoppers Say About GORUCK
GORUCK shoppers report severe and recurring customer service failures that overshadow the brand's military heritage and product reputation. Multiple customers experienced order cancellations without explanation, unresponsive support teams that ignored urgent communications about shipping errors, and inventory issues where staff provided vague timelines on restocking. One reviewer praised the company's ability to navigate shipping regulations and found their products solid, but positive feedback is sparse relative to complaints about unresponsive communication and lack of follow-up from customer service.
While some customers acknowledge that GORUCK products themselves meet quality standards, the purchasing experience is marked by frustration. Concerns include high pricing relative to service quality, ambiguous claims about American manufacturing when some products are made overseas, and a warranty system that may not deliver on promises. The polarized rating distribution suggests shoppers either have acceptable product experiences but poor service interactions, or they encounter obstacles at the purchase or support stage that poison their entire relationship with the brand.

Sorted by: Most recentGot some I/O trainers on clearance and had to send them back. The whole process was fast and professional, both when I asked if I could return closeout shoes and when they handled the return. The shoes were actually nice quality but the lace holes rubbed my foot wrong. Really wish they'd worked out. I also bought a Rucker 3.0 and a thirty-pound weight. Both were fantastic quality. I even emailed them ahead of time asking if they'd have another color in stock soon and got a quick response. They were responsive to my questions and concerns and their gear is high quality.
Expensive junk and terrible customer service here. You can't even call them, there's no phone option. I got a defective product and when I complained they blamed me for damaging it. Won't repair it, won't refund it, won't replace it. I'm done with this company forever.
Spent five hundred fifty dollars on equipment and was told delivery would take five to ten days. After nineteen days it's still on its way using economy mail, delayed partly by pandemic issues and partly by the postal service itself. With the amount I spent, they should offer free priority shipping or at least low cost options. I emailed customer support and there's no way to talk to a real person. They replied quickly but just said there wasn't anything they could do. Nobody tried to track it down, find out what was causing the delay, send a replacement, or call me to talk things through. These folks make quality products and I'll change my review if my order ever shows up, but right now I'm just rating them on how they handle shipping and support.
