I've been a loyal customer for years and spent a lot of money with them. Just ordered four hockey sticks at $369 each and the first one cracked during my first warmup session. Filed my first warranty claim and got an automated message telling me to contact the manufacturer instead. Hockey Monkey is not worth your business. Their sticks break too easily and they won't stand behind them.

Ordered a stick and it showed up looking like it had already been used. Maybe that's why it was on sale, but I wasn't told. The bottom of the shaft was visibly damaged. When I contacted them about it, they basically said tough luck. I don't trust them at all. You're better off going to an actual store where you can inspect things before you buy. Just watch out for damaged goods coming from this place.

Was nervous about ordering because of the bad reviews I saw online, but honestly those people must have been making stuff up. Got my skates super fast and they're perfect. Really happy with everything. Would recommend them.

Would give zero stars if I could. They'll tell you when your order ships and then don't follow through. Paid extra for expedited shipping and it got cancelled by the shipper, but Hockey Monkey just ignored my calls. Asked about compensation multiple times and got nowhere. They fought me hard when I requested a refund and wouldn't work with me at all. Skip this company entirely. Don't waste your money on express shipping either. Word gets around fast in the hockey community when someone treats customers this badly.

Purchased goalie pads that still had the security tag attached when they arrived. The thing was incredibly difficult to remove and could have sprayed ink everywhere if I wasn't careful. Took over a week for them to email me back, and their solution was just to use a magnet. Tried that and it didn't work.

Really angry I didn't read reviews before ordering here. They literally have no customer service. I called for hours without anyone answering. Sent emails with no responses. I made over 14 calls in one stretch and all I got was an automated message saying they're too busy and can't help. Complete waste of time. Go to ProHockeyLife instead.

Wish I'd checked the reviews first because I would've skipped this place. Everything negative I've read turns out to be true. Ordered the wrong size and now I'm stuck with it. Called, emailed, messaged them on social media and nobody ever gets back to you about a return authorization. They're a total scam. Avoid Hockey Monkey.

Bought a helmet and hit a wall trying to return it. Their policy requires you to email customer service for a return authorization number, but good luck getting anyone to respond within your 30 day window. Their customer service team is basically nonexistent. If you're thinking about shopping there, find somewhere else instead. It's the worst buying experience I've had, hands down.

Paid $45 for next day shipping on a $200 Bauer stick and extender because my daughter needed it for a game after breaking hers. The stick arrived the next day like promised, but the extender took a full week to show up. When I called customer service, they basically said too bad, the package left on time according to their records. No refund, no credit, nothing.

Their customer service is terrible. Just go to Ice Warehouse or Pure Hockey or literally anywhere else unless you enjoy dealing with people who don't care.
