The cameras have serious recording issues. They record constantly with nothing to capture, and it seems like they rotate which camera does this. I decided to switch to Ring cameras instead, even with the subscription costs. Way better quality. Don't buy this.

This system has major problems with how it records. It just keeps filming nonstop with nothing happening, and different cameras seem to take turns doing it. I ended up buying 2 Ring cameras instead and they work so much better even though I pay a subscription. Skip this brand entirely.

Terrible product. Won't connect to the internet. I won't be purchasing Night Owl security systems anymore. I manage a farm and needed reliable security, and this seemed like a good option but it's not. Steer clear. It's very frustrating.

I spent a lot of time researching before buying these cameras, and I was happy with my choice initially. Then I discovered the website description was wrong. The cameras don't do continuous recording like they claim on their site. I sent them back immediately, but they stuck me with the return shipping cost even though their misleading information caused the problem. Their customer service was awful too, taking hours to call back. They refused to cover shipping for returning a product that was their mistake to describe incorrectly. I'm really unhappy and won't buy from Night Owl again.

These are the worst security cameras available. The company should face legal action or at least remove 'Security' from their name. The devices lag constantly and miss entire hours of footage. Never install these in a business or home where you need actual protection. They're completely useless. I've tried their wired, wireless, and wifi models and they're all equally terrible. I've lost thousands of dollars.
