My kids have been wearing these constantly and they're the best option I've found for growing feet. Once my children outgrew their soft-soled crib shoes, finding a shoe with enough flex to support natural foot growth became really challenging. I discovered Plae at the park when I saw another child wearing them and asked what brand they were. We've been loyal customers ever since, and my youngest two have basically worn only Plae sneakers since they learned to walk.

These are honestly the perfect sneakers for kids with growing feet. After my children moved on from those soft crib shoes, I had a hard time finding anything with a flexible enough sole that wouldn't restrict their foot development. I spotted Plae shoes being worn at the park one day and asked another parent about them. That was a few years ago and we haven't looked back. My two younger kids wear them as their main sneaker and have done so since they started walking.

Watch out: this company only allows returns or exchanges if you buy at full price. When you're ordering shoes online where fit is everything, you really need the option to exchange or send items back if they don't work out. I followed their sizing guide when I placed my order, but the shoes arrived too small for me. They refused to let me exchange them since I'd bought them during a promotional discount rather than at full price or as clearance. If I'd known about this restriction beforehand, I never would've taken the chance. Not only that, but I would've at least expected to be able to swap for the right size, even if I had to pay for shipping. This is pretty disappointing customer service from a company I really wanted to like.
